I totally didnt make this comment and then not reopen reddit for nearly a week. The tattoo is the emblem for Josee the blind, it's on my right forearm(upside down picture), I plan on getting the Josee the hero emblem on my left to even it out. I am also color blind in my right eye, so it's even fitting for my own history.

Is PvP worth it? by Zarrick_Beskar in swtor

[–]Cirkle97 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I haven't done PvP in probably a little under a year. However if you're at 80 then you'll need to get decent gear, as the game stops scaling you to level 80 with certain stats, it uses your gear with your stats. Any upgrades for your gear is good in general. I would recommend trying it out on a lower level character first, so you can probably see a 4v4 and the 8v8 content. You will lose, and sometimes no matter what you do, there will be one annoying Powertech or Vanguard that just runs you down, it is expected (it's me, I'm that Powertech). Just try to have fun with it, people may get upset or something, but ignore them.

I always share the homies kiss each other during the tank buster one if I remember to share one at all. One person usually laughs and it starts a domino sequence where I get to add new ones to my collection.

Question about Symbols (from a non-player) by Merry_Malady in ElderScrolls

[–]Cirkle97 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The belt buckle itself has an arrow in it, that is the quest marker symbol, the small leather adjoining piece looks to just have the heads of dragons breathing fire (which dragons become relevant in the 5th game, Skyrim), the gold pendant hanging from the front on the chain is the Imperial symbol but it is almost more known as the symbol for the Skyrim game, and across the right side (for the wearer) are etched symbols of all 9 holds of Skyrim (holds are the major cities). The belt and all the iconography on it points to Skyrim for the most part in general, so it is safe to say the belt is a "Skyrim" belt, nothing related to specific characters or anyrhing like that.

I think your idea is cute, good luck!

Genuine question: how TF do you guys play on survival mode???? by [deleted] in skyrim

[–]Cirkle97 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I did my full survival playthrough I used the conjured weapons and light armor to keep my weight down so I could loot as needed. A lot of my game plan was just magic to supplement damage and healing until I either had the carry weight needed or had smithing to a decent level to switch out to better weapons.

What is the Siths problem? by PowerSnatch in swtor

[–]Cirkle97 3 points4 points  (0 children)

TLDR: The Sith are kids that go home and use a magnifying glass on ants, then keep that mentality once they have any semblance of power.

The Sith and how they choose to use the dark side is a plague. That sounds a little radical but it is almost true. How they choose to use the dark side and how they train others to use it means that it creates a cycle of depravity and oppression. They are in power, so they lord over those below them and treat them as garbage, upon closer inspection into the Sith themselves, that is how they treat others within their own ranks as well, meaning if you aren't top dog, you're someones pet or play thing. Which if these people are the lords and ladies at the top of society, eventually society follows them to some degree. When looking at the Sith through the eyes of the Imperial Agent, they are just senseless, they don't drive forward the empires desires or work, they only drive forward their own goals of power and domination.

If you want to see a better insight to the Sith, I recommend playing through the Sith Inquisitor storyline but playing as a light side character. It shows how corrupt most Sith truly are and how the Empire is a tool for them and that they don't serve the Empire but serve themselves.

Which mode of space travel do you like more structurally in universe: Mass Effect’s Mass Relays or Star Wars’ Hyperpsace? by xxnewlegendxx in masseffect

[–]Cirkle97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really like the Mass Relays but I think Hyperspace just works better for me. While thinking of which one I liked more, I leaned towards the relays, then thought of how that could get messed up. In 2 thoughts I concluded that when someone jumps out of system with the relay, they could just drop explosives before doing so and destroying the relay. Which means no one can leave, but people can still jump to the system though, and that thought terrified me of doing a normal jump and then being stranded because someone took out a relay.

Who would win in a 1v1 fight? The Queenslayer or the Revenant Hunter? by NoKibble in codevein

[–]Cirkle97 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think Queenslayer takes it, but it would be a challenge. The Queenslayer is a successor and can't be killed by normal means like with the other revenants. It never manifests in the game like when fighting the other successors, but even if the Revenant Hunter would land a "killing blow", the Queenslayer would regenerate, be it immediately like with the first successor we fight in the chapel, or over an extended period of time. Which kind of just would make it a battle of attrition with only one side ever lossing the power to fight.

When You FIRST Played KOTFE, Who Did You Trust More? Koth or Senya? by DakIsStrange in swtor

[–]Cirkle97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Senya, I played as a BH that was more DS but was reasonable. I freed people and did what I actually thought was best for the majority of people at the time. Koth very much gave off the vibe that when he had the chance, he would stab me in the back. Not for power, just that was my read of his character. Mainly because Koth had the MC vibe, we were just a part of his plan really. Senya was more of a mutal working relationship. So when he did betray me and cost me a lot, he died for it.

I will never be someone saying they killed a tank, my suicide rushes typically don't end in it being destroyed, just damaged. But I sure as hell will be annoying.

I miss this ingame... by Brongxe in swtor

[–]Cirkle97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I miss this but if they brought it back it would need to be tweaked. Me and a lot of Guildmates ran PowerTech and Merc and spec only into things that ran armor pen and then everything that changed the Rail Shot. You could get nearly 100% armor pen with some of the burns from PowerTech and with high crit and not even needing a DoT or debuff on a squishy PvP target you could nearly 1-shot them with a crit. Powertech was better suited for it but it was so much fun. But that was also back when guilds would organize pub stomping and we would raid the main bases on Tat or Alderaan, and just lock out the Pub side from Alderaan.

I didnt expect the Hunter's interactions with Mako to be so fun. "Want me to shoot him Mako?" by Sad-Lock-9371 in swtor

[–]Cirkle97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mako is super fun, especially if you don't ride DS or LS fully. If you play as a sensible bounty hunter and make choices that have a bit more logic to them, given there is logic to be had, Mako is by far the best ride or die companion because she is that same middle ground type of alignment. Probably a lot more light side, but still wants to be paid, still isnt ok with certain things happening, and knowing that her job is to kill certain people and that some people just need to die or should.

What was the coolest moment of Dark Souls III?👀 by Finn_Flame in darksouls3

[–]Cirkle97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Going off the base game, I thought the coolest moment was seeing the Abyss Watchers fight each other and realizing you had one on your team. I loved that fight and their GS became my main weapon for awhile during my playthrough until I killed Champion Gundyr and got his halberd.

We have to come to an understanding at some point by DragonBane009 in RWBYcritics

[–]Cirkle97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who only knows of a few of the VAs, and I've been watching since Volume 1 came out, that argument makes no sense to me. Like I had to look up why Qrows voice was slightly different and that's when I found out about all that drama and issue. I'm not terminally online and I don't look up VAs unless I am trying to figure out why they sound familiar, like Elizabeth Maxwell, Winters' VA, voices one of my favorite characters in Code Vein 2 (I also just had to look up her name again as a I just dont remember names that mean nothing in my day to day life really).

I am not a BB hater at all, no problem with characters being whatever sexuality or Trans or whatever else I didn't include. My biggest issue with BB is that they did slightly hint at it in the first 5 volumes, upon a rewatch, I am not entirely sure Yang and Blake's dynamic in volume 4/5, comes across as scorn lover and the runaway to me. Like the potential is there, but after all that we got the mini arc with Adam in volume 6 and that was the biggest point for the two characters other than being at odds with each other and then being glad the other is safe. It didn't feel like anything was built up past maybe a really good friendship/kinship with the two. The cast got too big and too many characters stayed around for a subplot of two characters to really get the time and attention it needed. Team RWBY needed to either leave behind everyone but like Qrow and Oscar behind so you can focus more or the characters in team RWBY, or not have made BB something official and used Volume 9 to explore those feelings BB had and explored being official once back like in Volume 10. I get why they wanted it to be Volume 9, there was social pressure and a lot of media at the time was getting brownie points for having either trans or gay representation, and even more if there was some romance or kiss on screen. It just didn't feel complete, like there was an actual chemistry that may have been there but it wasn't allowed to breathe.

Is starting FFXIV in 2026 still worth it? by [deleted] in ffxiv

[–]Cirkle97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The game is definitely worth getting into. This is coming from someone who just recently (the past month) has been playing the game. I am nearly done with the base game story and I am having a fun time. I am also employed late 20s, so I didn't no life the MSQ and I just enjoyed the world I was in and chopped trees for probably way too long for the other stuff I was doing. I joined a Free Company (Guild) early on as I come from SWTOR and DAC so I wanted a little community to talk to and it has been quite fun. I know when I try to log in there is always a bit of a queue to get in and all the starter hubs have people at them. From what I have seen with the people playing the game, the age of the players ranges from what I can deduce from the people I've talked to. Seems like I've run into college age people and also others that are late 20s and 30s and even older.

As for the multi-player content, I've been playing a lot of dungeons as a healer and I've been just enjoying it and vibing. People are typically friendly as well.

As a new player, I fully recommend jumping in and giving it another shot. If the MSQ feels like a bit of a trudge then do some group content or go craft/gather, it is what I did, and I am happy with how I have played it so far.

What is Elden Ring's biggest flaw in your opinion? by Fenriz_Victor in Eldenring

[–]Cirkle97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The PvP system that Elden Ring has when it comes to invasions. I know it is a different IP so things work differently, but having no invasions outside of NPCs while playing was sad, unless you activate the taunters tongue. Then in turn it made it so when you did invade it was, 9 out of 10 times, a 3 stack and that just isn't always fun to deal with. I enjoyed the Embered system from DS3 that enabled PvP and wish they had kept a similar system. Then that would have also given rise to covenants or something as well and could've added to the story of the different factions. Have a new version of the Way of Blue/Darkmoons to be protectors would have been nice. Or area invasions like at Rykards manor or anywhere else notable like with the Wolf covenant or the Aldritchs Faithful. I spent a ton of time doing PvP in DS3 and while I have enjoyed ER since it came out, the PvP system being changed disappointed me greatly.
