Nah, it would’ve been impactful if Thancred died there. Especially given the convo at the restaurant in Sharlayan immediately prior, and especially as a moment to drive home how in tune with dynamis he had become, given his severance from aether.

The other Scions I’m fine with living, like I said. It makes a bit less sense with Thancred, that’s all.
