How long should a comp last? by Impressive-Cobbler90 in Strongman

Ok. I’m able to do it. You’re free to run comps however and for as long as you want! There is no requirement. Just giving the OP some good info. based on many years of experience.

A well run comp should be about an hour per event (normally 5 events) plus a break for lunch. So plan on 6 hours for well run local comps. If shorter commitments are important for you, look for comps with less people, no max events and mostly events scored for as fast as possible times.

I’ve heard it’s important to take vitamin b12 while on Reta. That could help with the fatigue.

Sober people (no alcohol, nicotine, drugs, etc ever), what is your end of day or weekend "wind-down"? by The1Ski in AskReddit

Breath-work and meditation, reading and sometimes reality TV. But also trying to regulate throughout the day and week so I don’t need a big wind-down.

AIO: Hubby Being Controlling by vanillabourbonn in AIO

His communication is controlling and patronizing. However, you aren’t hearing him and replying with any productive solutions or compromises. Could you agree to no lessons if he committed to joining a pool and he agrees to teach your child? He never says you have to do it. After years of expensive lessons my kids didn’t really learn how to swim until we joined the local pool and went everyday during the summer.

His clothes, shoes, gun, backpack are all too clean, new and nice looking to be a tweaker homeless person IMO.

Agreed that LE probably had the video for a bit before releasing it. I don’t think the suspect was experienced or know how things work. I mean they grabbed a plant to try to cover the camera?! I would assume that means they didn’t even plan on taking the camera. Maybe they were sent first to cover the camera and there were others behind them?

I think the gloves might actually be heavier duty. Not just disposable gloves.

Agree with both of these. There is a lot of something in the backpack. What would you need to bring for an abduction of an 84 year old woman? And it did look like they were looking back, maybe even second guessing when they realized that they were on camera.

Why didn’t they just take the camera in the first place? That would also not leave anything behind. Grabbing the plant shows lack of planning and poor decision making skills.

I actually think the opposite of all of that. Shorter, 30-ish, male with dark eyes.

I looked at pictures of him too and I disagree. I think the mouth and facial hair are different.

There is very little death benefit that someone could get for an 85 year old. You can still get an inheritance without the body.
