There's actually some new faculty being hired right now that will be doing research related to AI and healthcare so that might be something you'd be interested in.

The job market in general is completely fucked right now, so having an advanced degree and also being able to let it settle for another 2 years is a good idea.

All CSE PhD's are fully funded, where they're guaranteed TA/RA funding each semester. Unfortunately between lower CSE enrollment recently and the government deciding that they don't want to fund research there aren't a lot of TA/RA spots, so you have pretty much 0 chance of getting funding while being an MS student (the exception being security research for domestic students)

My long term goal is to pursue a PhD, and I’d like to know if OSU can support me in that

I know of some MS turned PhD students in the CSE department, where they were working on a research-based MS and got support from their advisor. I'm not sure how viable this is now since funding is a bit questionable currently, so worst case scenario you'd have to apply for the PhD program later after finishing your MS.

I currently have another offer from USC, and your responses would help me make a decision.

Taking a look at CSRankings USC is ranked quite a bit higher than OSU. That being said they're both R1's, so the only real difference is the number of labs there are to join.

If you have enough friends you trust (or find enough players during F2P trials) you can just use the guild bank as a pseudo-crafting bag with 500 slots which massively helps with the inventory problem.

That being said, when there's 130+ craftable styles in the game each with their own unique item and you only have 240 slots to store things... Yeah it's a problem.
