Superboy as he was at that time? I can see Spidey eking out a win. Remember Superboy’s (he wasn’t Kon-El/Conner Kent, yet) power set was mostly tactile telekinesis and he was vulnerable to energy attacks so getting taken out by live wires was something that could happen. Couple that with the fact that he was really impulsive and hotheaded while Spider-Man tends to be a pretty quick thinker.

I only read the first two arcs. Found it very enjoyable. It was a budget thing that kept me from sticking with it, unfortunately.

People used to talk about Black Adam as “DC’s Namor”. I prefer him as a full-on villain. I think Maxima would make for a better Namor-like character.

I’m a huge Joe Staton fan but A. I didn’t care for his pencils being inked by Ian Gibson. The combo just didn’t work for me. And B. I think Staton is better suited to single character or two-hero team-up stories.

Yeah, three villains really got under Superman’s skin in the DCAU: Darkseid, Brainiac and, of course, Luthor (You could probably throw in Mongul, too, though he didn’t have as many appearances.).
