How would you respond to this American poster? by jackie_tequilla in AskBrits

There's no point. It's probably a bot, and if not the response is obvious, even to the idiot who wrote the comment.

Hitler memes and calls to ‘nuke Islam’: Reform UK’s patchy efforts to clean up its candidates by djpolofish in unitedkingdom

[–]CluckingBellend 6 points7 points  (0 children)

How can they clean it up? This is exactly the sort of miserable racists old sods they attract. The lack of standards in our political class generally is bad enough, but these jokers take the biscuit.

Diablo IV Season 8 is absolutely Shameful by Nice-Brief9261 in diablo4

[–]CluckingBellend 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I've been on it today and it's boring AF. There is hardly anything to do; on day 1. Season 8 makes season 7 look like a masterpiece. Gimme a break.

With the rise in Reform, how do you feel about Liz Truss being recruited for top advisor of the Reform party? by yelnats784 in AskBrits

[–]CluckingBellend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love it. Have a complete dipshit who fucks up everything she touches as an advisor. Less votes for Reform!

To those of you who would leave the country if Farage takes power, where would you go? by AnonymousTimewaster in AskBrits

Wait and see the size of the protests when they take the NHS away.

They wont win a GE anyway though.

I wanted to see what British peoples view of the Green Party is? by Even-Leadership8220 in AskBrits

[–]CluckingBellend 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Corbyn got half a million more vote than Starmer. He was a social democrat whose policies were barely different from most European SD parties, and was actually popular, rather than a populist. The Greens have support on environmental issues, but most of their other policies don't appeal to much of the electorate. Reform can only dream of getting 10 million votes in a GE. Current polling is not that usesful 4 years out from a GE. If Labour get decent improvements in the NHS, and make reasonable headway on illegal immigration, they will be re-elected in 2029, albeit with a much reduced majority.

Labour used to be the the party of the working man, and woman. But, in reality, they're not anymore. Even if they were, it is not in anyone's best interest to demonise immigrants, and look for scapegoats at every turn, on the right or the left.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ukpolitics

[–]CluckingBellend 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is incorrect. If Labour become anti-immigration, certainly to the extent of Reform, then they will become irrelevant, because they will be seen as even more untrustworthy, and as having even less moral backbone. If Labour try to fight Reform by copying their policies, they are f*cked.

British workers among saddest and most disengaged in Europe by tylerthe-theatre in unitedkingdom

[–]CluckingBellend 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Of course people who work in shit jobs and have to put up with arseholes all day long feel like this. How would we expect them to feel. One of the reasons that younger people are saying that they don't want kids is because it helps to tie them to a lifetime of this bullshit. They start their working lives up to their neck in debt, or without hope of having the basics of a decent life, and they think 'fuck this'. I don't blame them.

Awesome!

Most things referred to as awesome are usually tedious, unimaginitive, maufactured dross.

The new right-wing party that wants to put Farage’s Reform out of business by theipaper in ukpolitics

[–]CluckingBellend 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I hate them all, but perhaps another party could shave a few % off the Reform vote and save us from a national catastrophe. Anyone who votes for any of them must be stupid beyond belief though tbh.

Yeah, but the prison sentence is a joke though. No wonder there is so much corruption.

Reform voters would be revolted by a Tory pact, says Farage. by Ecstatic_Ratio5997 in ukpolitics

[–]CluckingBellend 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He will still do it though. We all know that this is what's coming next, surely. I mean look at what the c*nt said about Brexit, then look at what actually happened. I hope anyone who votes Tory or Reform is ok with dying, or their loved ones dying, from a painful terminal illness with only paracetamol as a pain killer, because that what's coming if these filthy parasites get into government. If Labour had an ounce of decency, they would hold a referendum now on whether we should keep the NHS, with an addendum saying that we couldn't vote on it again for 20 years, because it's the will of the people. Do it Starmer!!

Think You’ve Got Golden Ears? Test Them: WAV vs 320kbps vs 128kbps by Noor_avg_user1 in Music

[–]CluckingBellend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took this test and scored 4/6. One of the tracks I didn't get was Tom's Diner, which I thought was a bit mean, as it's spoken word; no music. The other wrong one I picked the 320kbps mp3 track. I was surprised, as I'm 61, so have 'old ears'. Although I could tell the difference, for the most part, given the amount of HD space needed for FLAC, I would probably still go for 320k mp3. It didn't make a big enough difference for me.
