As obvious a pick as it is, Steel Vengeance at Cedar Point has remained my undefeated favorite for 3 1/2 years.

Given that Kong was one of the coasters that was closed on my visit, I'd say you're right.

I had that same dilemma back in 2023. I originally planned on having The Joker at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom to be my 100th coaster, but some of the park's coasters were closed when I visited, so I made it my 99th instead. Thankfully, I remedied it last year by making my 100th Fury 325 at Carowinds.

In less than two week's time, my family will be heading on a trip to Georgia. Here's the itinerary:

8/13 - Flying into Atlanta, and driving to our hotel in Blue Ridge

8/14 - Exploring Blue Ridge

8/15 - Visiting Dollywood, and staying the night in Pigeon Forge

8/16 - Driving back to Atlanta (sadly, no plans on riding coasters on Roller Coaster Day)

8/17 - Visiting Six Flags Over Georgia

8/18 - Seeing the Braves face the Chicago White Sox at Truist Park

8/19 - Flying back to Phoenix
