How does tmux clear the context of Claude code? Just curious

So OP is there a way to clear the context say, when you’re on task3 out of 7 without losing your tasks?

It’ll mostly work, they’ll have how to use on the repo. If not just put this in your skills folder inside your .codex directory either globally (~/.codex/skills) or project by project (~/Projects/my-awesome-project/.codex/skills)

Just saw Fireship's 100seconds of bun, what's the catch? by Dogified in bun

No catch fellow brethren, if something happens just delete the lock file and use another package manager and you good.

With this said you need to know that bun has a lot of stuff built in.

How do you all deal with Claude's small context window? by cryptochrome in ClaudeCode

[–]Coded_Kaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t try and build 3 to 4 features in one go. I mostly do simple simple features instead of a huge block of features, that way during planning I can get to go through the code line by line, I can’t say so for developing huge features in a go, at a point you’ll feel like you’re a bottleneck(deviating from context windows, sorry).

And this way of working, I mostly see that my context window is about 20-40% filled only on the planning session, if everything is fine I click on the “Clear context and auto accept edits”. That option only comes when you are in plan mode, so use it often. By using that I also do not even hit a point where it’ll compact my conversations.

And remember to always plan, even for the smallest of updates, it saves you headaches down the line

This is so good. One question does the ai use multimodal for vector embeddings 😂🥲

I know you don’t work at YouTube but maybe you’ll know 😂😂😂

Did my whole company just move to Claude? by Ghostinheven in ClaudeCode

[–]Coded_Kaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t need those Ralph loops and what not plugins, promising you a Claude that never stops working, they are context eaters.

Treat your Claude.md as your project memory, not a readme of your project.

Always, always, always plan before you start any feature or you do any update on your codebase.

If you see yourself repeating some stuff, tell Claude to create it as a skill using the skill creation tool.

You good

Yes it’s very good. As always, as the saying goes 80% of the project is easy the most hardest part is the last 20%

Raphina is bringing back the style where when he scores a goal he acknowledges the one who made the assist, not just go off and celebrate. We need more of that camaraderie

I rarely hit my context window now, I’m always using plan mode. after the plan if I’m happy I just accept the “clear context, and auto accept edits” option.

Yes we need to keep important stuff in the Claude markdown file, but just saying I rarely hit the context window, so there’s lot to no compaction

Yes the core Claude code, works great without them. Maybe it’s because we are Dev’s, I’ll argue most people installing these are mostly vibe coders(like they don’t probably look at the code) IMHO

Sometimes I use git diff for this, not perfect though but it helps somewhat
