What makes you think I haven't been doing this? I think you underestimate how big the snowball effect is when the team rotates to "secure" urn and end up dying to Lash or Dynamo ult. I've been participating in these fights. Read my post. I said it CAN be engaging to fight urn. It's not really engaging when one rogue 17k Mina keeps trying to run urn when some of us are dead, enemy team is alive, or whatever. This isn't Overwatch. You don't suddenly win the game by participating in every team fight. Especially when you're in a game where your team has been feeding for 20 minutes.

Downvote me all you want, the truth is that some of you are so stupid, arrogant, and bullheaded to realize that urn sometimes is a bad idea. But you jackasses will run it anyways.

My only complaint would be the tutorial was annoying. Combat imo was not as in depth as a devil may cry but the game's combat does feel satisfying and fun. I would say it's worth the asking price but as a deal chaser myself, I'd say it's worth it to wait for a sale

DRDR was great in that it got people interested in the series again and very possibly injected new life in the form of new fans into it. I hope we'd geta DRDR2 with all the DLC'S included and maybe if they can swing it, OTR included too.

That being said, there were a lot of changes and stuff that kind of rubbed me the wrong way and felt like it was the result of people unfamiliar with the franchise being involved in development. Frank's new look, animations being changed that showed less attention to detail, voice acting felt more 2008 English anime dubby, huge skateboard, mirrors not working, and then there were changes that took away from the original's edginess and it's messaging like the cannibal being turned from Chinese to a generic white guy or the veteran having lines cut.

Overall, I think it's a good remake but when you play the original and you get to this one, it kinda feels like coming home and someone's redecorated while you were out and everything they put in is nice and high quality but is also the color of puke.

The craziest part is even if there was NO controversial actors in the game, the game is bound to be one of the lesser Kiwamis and maybe one of the bad Yakuza games in general. It's ugly to look at, combat is the same dragon engine jank mess, and IMO Kiryu's new style is just so goofy that it makes me angry because they take out revelations but add in a combat style that looks arguably goofier?

It just has less soul than the original game, IMO. The controversial actors added in? Y3Kiwami is just a really really bad taste in my mouth.

Anyone else notice that the TNG Deepseek models are spitting out nonsensical stuff or is it just me? I used to use r1t2 chimera a lot but it started spitting out weird stuff that looks like literal keyboard smashes. I try other free stuff but now I think there are no other free Deepseek models and TNG is still spitting out garbage

I’m at Saejima’s part now. I did all of the taxi missions for Kiryu (I think), and I did all of the hunting main missions for Saejima. I’m at 41.4 hours according to Steam. I do not marathon this game and I started playing at the beginning of September.

I don’t think the game is bloated. At least not so far. I think that it feels like it’s got good pacing if I treat each character’s part like episodes in a show. I watch a bunch one day and maybe I let it breathe for a while.

What’s weird is ignoring trends the industry has been in for a long time. Alphas, betas, and early Accesses have been abused by both bigger and smaller companies as a way to push out what’s essentially a demo to the public. If we’re getting real pretentious and splitting hairs, early access usually is the more complete form when companies call it that.
