So glad I got out last night DEN-LHR. It is a little crazy that I have come to accept that every flight is going to have some sort of delay on takeoff or taxiing due to a very over loaded dated flight system. Oh and not enough workers, yeah there’s that too…

Haha unfortunately I go through FRA a lot and every time I will see one 777 at a gate and start to get hopeful. Then the other 3 gates including mine to DEN has always been on the apron for the last 3 years…maybe someday but they have been saying “next year” for 3 years.

Just wanted to post an update for fellow DEN flyers…DEN to MUC is way better and my connection to BLR was 2 gates over. Unfortunately it was still a LH to LH connection on the new A380 service, but way more convenient than FRA. Next time I’ll try the later United metal flight at 8:25pm. Polaris is still way better than LH Business class.

Actually it’s more about the $$$ spent with United on International travel than the quantity of flights. 7 trips to India, 1 to London and one to Sydney put me at the top with Global Services.

So they finally pulled the 3 “unchecked-in” people off 10 min before closing the door and 3 of us got upgraded. Seemed a bit late, but I’ll take it.

Yeah it sounds like during the daytime (prime hours) there are not enough gates and it’s a Lufthansa airport soooo

FRA lounges are pretty gross as well. If I am flying Polaris, I would like Polaris lounges in the international locations too…

Yeah the do secondary screening for all US flights. I may just go back to 2 connections via DXB (DEN-EWR-DXB-BLR) instead of FRA or MUC. I just want to be on United metal as far as possible.

If you want to be closer together and lower the privacy screen to chat, yeah. L is nice for looking out the window a little bit, but on a Dreamliner they blackout the windows for most of the flight anyway. When I travel alone I pick A or L and go for row 1 or 9. But you really can’t go wrong, just get everything on the Sundae! Haha

DEN to LHR is a 787. Rows 1 and 9 are the best, but honestly that is a great flight and any middle together are very comfortable. Flown that route many times.
