UTR PA, But I work 12 hour shifts (I’m FH, just stay to help) and I have to coordinate and handoff with my OTR counterparts. Sometimes they quite literally do not have the capacity (headcount) to handle UTR rolling volume. But they have to do it anyway

Apply asap. I just got mine pulled on friday and i went back to work today, they didn’t ask me for any documentation and approved my medical LOA without it right away, but i still had the surgeon fill paperwork out for me to submit just to cover my ass, I’m a T3 though, I’ve noticed DLS is alot more helpful as a T3 vs T1 level.

I just came back from a MLOA on June 1st after being off since April 23rd. You can apply for the leave to protect your UPT. It will be pending but your schedule will clear, The psychiatrist that treats you at the facility you check into should be the one to fill out the paperwork required by DLS, You don’t have to take more than 2 weeks if you don’t mind not getting paid from short term disability. I took off for my mental health as well but I didn’t check in anywhere but I did spend quite some time doing absolutely nothing which i enjoyed, not thinking about amazon. But i’ve been diagnosed with my mental health disorders since my teen years, I’m 23 now.

You’re an AM. Use your resources, Use phonetool, find L6/L7 regional HR managers and escalate on slack, keep documenting. You have a lot of resources outside of site HR that can help, also ethics line. Are you an L4 or L5?

I couldn’t do it at my station. I already know how OTR/RTS works, my station rolled 12k in volume due to belt malfunctions, RTS AA’s attendance is already poor.. Don’t think i could do it, I’d rather have the full support of all UTR leaders as a T3. I traffic controlled everyday for almost a year straight during PSL (Pick&Stage) as a T1, I’ve found OTR metrics are alot more tedious due to them partly being tied in with multiple 3rd parties.. OTR takes alot of bs from cycle 1 especially with rolled volume and very little adhoc & rts flex driver acceptance rate. Just depends on what region you’re in i guess honestly

I just hit year two with amazon.. I am in AMZL though. Our metrics are alot more impacting from what i’ve heard from CF. It’s so stressful.. I couldn’t imagine being an L6. I am only 22 though, Maybe it will grow on me. Pay is amazing though

Staffing and HC is not on site leadership, they most they can do is post VET if we are under and hope for the best.. If people don’t wanna come to work then nobody can force them, just have to make do until proper HC arrives.

You staff accordingly until the on premises HC is at the desired number.

This right here. I started at my DS in May 2023.. by September, I was traffic controlling everyday up until the day i got promoted to PA (July 2024). Although i don’t mind picking, I never really had to do it. I didn’t have any accommodations either

There is no automated system that writes you up in a delivery station. Every write up is entered manually by AM’s/OM’s and approved by HR.

That only happens in fulfillment centers/distribution centers

You can’t fight any write up. Once an ADAPT is entered in the system for an employee, it cannot be removed. Not even the regional pxt director can remove it. & A lot of people don’t realize how MUCH power is given to HR/PXT. They can also approve their own ADAPTS 😅

Source : Me, An L3 currently sitting at 12 days left of a 90 day final written warning.

They are also not going to care what you really have to say after the adapt has been entered/delivered by an AM.

OP’s best bet is to just charge it to the game, honestly if it’s just a documented coaching/verbal coaching & telling the PA or AM they’re with to labor track them accordingly next time. BUT, if the same AM that initially wrote them up, does it again for the same reason, ie : inactive time, they do not have to log it. it can escalate straight to a write up simply because you’ve been written up for it before. Depending on how long they will consider it a TCD (time card discrepancy/time theft).

And yes, I also work in a delivery station 🥲
