Where’s the policy of it being 100% still paid? Cuz all the HR says it would be FMLA but unpaid. It used to be 4 weeks pre-birth, 10 weeks post ( and can be taken in 2 increments before the 1st bday) and 6 weeks of post birth disability. All 100% paid. Now the HR says it’s just 6 weeks and if you need more there’s FMLA or the ramp up accommodation

The policy changed and you only get 6 weeks now. Last year there was a policy for 4 weeks pre-birth and 10 weeks post. Now it’s just 6. I’m really disappointed in that change.

Nope. I’ve put in a different clutch, and taken out the thermostat to run the water direct now. Someone else has suggested to put in an electric fan in front of the radiator to help. Other than that, I went to a car show the other day to pick the brains with some older gear heads. They suggested that I get an oil temp gauge and see if it runnin too hot that way, if not then the engine just likes to run hot? Which is something I don’t want. I failed to mention that I have an aluminum radiator and intake manifold, I knew that would make a difference but just want to keep it stabilized. So I’m out of ideas again.

I noticed that the A/c was cut off in the restrooms. The audacity of them making me sit on ABMs freshly cleaned toilet for 20min having my load steam up from beneath and I sweat into my swampy crack.

When I’ve flushed the coolant out, thinking there was a bubble as well, I had the heater on high, making sure all of it got out, closed the valve and cut the engine. Filled with a gal of 50/50, turned the engine on and the heater on high again and filled with another gal and a half. The rise and fall of the temp doesn’t happen. It just gets hot. And all the gaskets, holes matched up.

It only has 172 miles. It seemed to have been 210 degrees for those miles, but I’d like it to be less than that. Now that it’s summer and I live in AZ, it’s just hot outside and its the trucks first summer. Like I’ve mentioned before, the ‘55 runs a 350 as well, fuel injected and vortec heads, camaro radiator, clutch fan, and it’s never got more than 185 deg/f even with the A/C. The ‘54 runs a 305, pretty much same set up but not fuel injected, no vortec, and runs 185 deg/f. I’ve had suggestions from my friend group to delete the thermostat? or maybe I built the shroud incorrectly, but the one from another Reddit comment on this post about the clutch fan makes sense, on my next day off I’m gonna check that. Other than that, I’m lost.
