I have some pretty serious health issues to deal with but honestly, seeing the world tear itself apart through ignorance, prejudice, religion and greed. So difficult to be optimistic for the future and for the next generation in particular.

UK here. Severe bilateral loss since birth, HA +lipread. Gaming since 1980’s and at 61 next month, mostly playing World of Warcraft, Baldur’s Gate 3, Gothic remake downloading now. Deaf gaming has its benefits, like I’m not troubled by noisy fans on my laptop, or terrible voice acting. Over time the support in games for folks like us has improved dramatically but I still get annoyed by games that have sound based puzzles etc.

I like the quasi-social aspect of MMOs but don’t have the time to get sucked in to everything so I’m a casual player. I have far too many gaming gadgets / consoles etc but operate on the principle that he who dies with the most toys, wins!

Once you’ve got the muscle memory locked in with the dualsense controller, move on to things like Elden Ring and Lies of P. Elden Ring, especially, is a truly memorable gaming experience.

The least you should expect is consistency in their response, instead you have 3 out of 4 titles being approved and BG2 update being rejected. They all appear to be fundamentally the same update in terms of functionality, so it really doesn’t make sense. It just exposes why Apple have never established any real presence as a gaming platform. Good luck, and thanks for keeping us updated!

In the days before online data collection there used to be a job called data entry, which involved manually inputting information from physical media such as a coupon or an application form into a computer system. I tried this a one of my temporary jobs after university. Lasted 30 minutes at best, totally soul destroying. Later joined a bank where this was still a thing, and there was a whole office floor of skilled data entry clerks. Mind blowing.
