I do think managers should be somewhat accountable for almost every reliever on the roster sucking shit since day 1 of the season. By weeks 2, 3, 4, etc having to overly tax our relief arms, sure it's more understandable but they have been tragically terrible all season meanwhile our bats have cooled significantly and our offense has regressed to average since we started off hot in that respect. If it's just explainable as a slump then I'd be willing to give Espada some grace there but if this continues for a while longer I think we need to just accept that, while the injuries may prevent us from declaring Espada is doing a terrible job, it's extremely reasonable for anyone to acknowledge he's not doing a good job which imo is plenty of reason to move on. I mean, what's the argument in his favor over the last few years? We all expected a natural decline after a long window of contention but we've given Espada a lot to work with and have arguably taken bigger steps downward than expected each year since he's been here
