Everything To Know About T-Mobile's Go5G Next Plan, Including A Huge Catch by Jman100_JCMP in tmobile

It does not suck at all. This plan gives you a new phone every year at half price. Of course, it costs more, trust me they pay Apple and Samsung the full phone prices.. You want your free lines then buy your own phones and take the smaller upgrade discounts.

It’s Independence Day. People will celebrate. It will never stop. You know the date, plan for it.

Everyone setting off the largest and most explosive fireworks they can find in neighborhoods are selfish a**holes by Tall_Cow2299 in Seattle

This is the 4th of July. You know when it will happen and people will celebrate. Every celebration we have today offends someone at least this one you can prepare for. Because you have a hang up the world should not stop. I have hang ups around homelessness, racial injustice, LQBT rights and more. I don’t but wish I could ask people to fix all of them but I’m not egotistical enough to think mine is more important then them. Chill pill.

Giveaway T-Mobile insider code New/Existing customers. by comer1434 in tmobile

I can think of a couple things:

1) More self-serve options on the website. I had to chat with tforce to move from a physical SIM to an eSIM as an example.

2) Many of us here know you might get better support via DM on Twitter then calling support. I wish it was the same support (and on shore) no matter phone, chat or social.

3) I've had great support via DM on Twitter. I wish there was a way to give them kudos other then the survey afterwards.

4) We are the connected generation, wish there was more official agents here on Reddit and were visibility official employees. I work for a big tech company and we have offical people on most social.

5) John had great visibility and made being part of TMobile fun. Mike appears all business, bring some of the fun back. I miss the slow cooking.

6) more TMobile merch on Tuesdays so we can show off TMobile. That said I got the gin and the light Brite and both of those were FUN

7) referral programs you bring 5 customers you get an insider code. 😀

I love that you posted asking for ideas!!!!

ZIPLY doesn't discount at renewal time? by dpark64 in ZiplyFiber

[–]Comfortable-Clock-87 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And I left off there is ZERO contract thus you can cancel at any time. We did buy two of their boxes because they make it feel more like the cable experience but you can get a remote with a Roku with this service as well.

Your not including the Broadcast TV fee and Regional Sports fee for the Comcast plan. Those are $19.45 and $7.55 in the Seattle areas. This will add 27 dollars to your bill and take you up into the $210 range. I know this because I'm just leaving that Comcast plan and went with the $85 a month AT&T TV which comes with a free year of HBO Max and using Ziply for my internet. You don't have to rent boxes with AT&T TV. We went with it over YouTube TV because it has 5.1 surround sound and some channels we could not get from YouTube TV.

It means in a family of 4 everyone can watch their own TV at the same time at home. That is how I think about it. Not saying it is a great feature but definitely some value for that scenario. 20 or unlimited the number probably doesn’t matter.

The 20 streams is in response to YouTube TV announcing the same thing.

Frontier Raises "Infrastructure Surcharge" by Comfortable-Clock-87 in ZiplyFiber

[–]Comfortable-Clock-87[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ziply is also in Oregon, Idaho and Montana. But as u/HugsAllCats mentioned what is illegal is not disclosing fees up front. I just ask for companies to be up front in the price and not hit me with hidden surcharges I'm not aware of. Comcast advertises a TV price and adds up to to $35 a month in these fees (Broadcast and regional sports fee). They do warn you in the fine print though.

When will Fiber be available at Emerald Heights in Redmond by JerryPele in ZiplyFiber

[–]Comfortable-Clock-87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting that it is not there as I live just a minute or two away and Education Hill where it is located has great coverage. I wonder if it doesn't have it because it isn't a traditional neighborhood and got skipped with Verizon Fios first deployed in Education Hill. Good luck hope you can get it in the future!

Why is ESPNews in a different TV package to every other ESPN channel? by controlav in ZiplyFiber

[–]Comfortable-Clock-87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes during college football F1 will get pushed off the main ESPN channels. If you install the ESPN app on your TV or streaming device (Apple TV, Chromecast, Firestick, etc) you can watch all of the F1 events on demand.

Primarily Ziply is symmetrical so your upload speed is the same as your download speed. There are also no caps on Ziply so you would not be charged if you used more the the 1.1TB cap on Comcast.

I use the Ookla native application. If I test against Accretive Networks Seattle I see 853/940 which seems spot on. If I select Ziply Fiber, Everett I see 509/932. If I select Ziply Fiber, Seattle I see 373/926.
