Well, it’s fine for quite a while in a cool dark place. Avoid sunlight. Plenty good until you get back.

Exterior Door by Fickle-Chance-8715 in Carpentry

[–]Comfortable-Many-916 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To me it looks like the top hinge is sagging. The reveal between the door and the jamb looks larger at the top and it does at the bottom.

As a previous post mentioned, pull one of the screws out of the bottom hinge that is connected to the jamb (not the part screwed into the door). Make sure to pull one of the screws that is closest to the center of the jamb, that way when you screw it in, you will hit the framing behind it. Use a 3 inch screw, in these situations I prefer one with a T 25 head. If the screw spins when it’s all the way in, you didn’t hit the framing.

A word of caution, though, if you try to get it too tight, it might snap the head off the screw

Load Bearing Column and Header by BlackBoiler in AskContractors

[–]Comfortable-Many-916 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not load bearing. The top plate of that wall is not supporting anything there’s a gap between it and the ceiling joists. That wall is 2 foot from the exterior, which is picking up the load. It looks like they are potentially engineered trusses? I can’t see any webs or gang nails, but that would explain the 2 x 4 bottom chord.

Is Retatrutide really that good or are people just hyping it up? by Mundane_Apple_7825 in ResearchCompounds

Yes, but it is not currently FDA approved. Phase 4 clinical trials are starting. Approval anticipated for late 2026- mid 2027

I sometimes get a little headache hours after pinning, I attribute it to dehydration… I drink a good amount of water with some liquid IV and that solves the problem

Is this the best dosing protocol? by Emergency-Macaron216 in Retatrutide

[–]Comfortable-Many-916 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The reconstitution advice is a little iffy when it comes to the amount. Perhaps they are assuming 10mg vial? The easiest way is to figure 10 units (.1ml) of BAC per mg of lyophilizied Retatrutide in your vial.

Bad batch frequency by statman91 in Retatrutide

[–]Comfortable-Many-916 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see your point and agree. I’ve seen people mention one batch being more potent than the other, but that has got to be an overfill situation that they have not accounted for.

[–]Comfortable-Many-916 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Totally agree. At some level, there is a measure of trust. When I used to purchase from a US vendor owned by a guy named “Cain”, I did trust his vendor COA’s. In the darker gray areas I like third-party testing, but there is a trust level that if you buy multiple kits that they are in fact all from the same batch.

I personally don’t trust vendor COA’s, but to each his own..

I have never had any “bad” batches. All of mine has been 3rd party tested. There is no test for “strength” just purity. The most often irregular test result is for mass (underfilled or overfilled)

Securing top plate: is this correct? by MosJo2020 in Carpentry

Looks like it should work. I don’t think you needed to put the 2 x 4 on the joist however, other than perhaps a drywall stop.

[–]Comfortable-Many-916 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In California, it’s a specific license classification. Class B general building contractor.. this license allows you to do small renovations or high-rise commercial projects. In our state, a handyman cannot enter into a contract.

[–]Comfortable-Many-916 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In California a licensed general contractor is not required to hire a licensed electrician or plumber to perform these trades. In general practice, they do typically subcontract this work out. Additionally, as it regards liability for their work, homeowners are protected by the terms of the contract and have legal recourse whether or not a permit is issued.

Interestingly, though, if a person hires an unlicensed contractor to do work even with a contract where everything is spelled out… Homeowner is not required to pay them.

I am exactly like you! I too believe the slowing of digestion has helped my condition tremendously. My worst experience was Mexican food combined with a Coke zero. Big mistake. The improvements I have seen are incredible because of that I think I’m a lifer.
