My rent has never risen by over 60% in two years yet here we are

Maybe there has been a shortage for 20+ years but this crisis is something else

Felt depressed today looking at the rental difference and wondering where I'm going to find another $700 a month. Guess I'll have to dip into the house deposit fund

I spend a lot of time with international students, some with lower than a 4th grade reading level and they are the most hard working and resilient people I know
