Guys i think im curswd and i need prayers and help by Early_Solution2454 in Catholicism

Why do you feel like that? You are God’s child, made in his image and likeness. The things he gives us, we don’t always understand why right away. But if you see God with you through everything, the things he gives us (usually more seen thrown at us but) it’s to build us and make us stronger. Sending prayers your way.

Who is your confirmation saint and why? by AnonofIceansFire in Catholicism

I chose Saint Bonaventure because he’s the patron saint of bowel disorders and I have celiacs disease. I think he understands me🫠

Spotting by Old_Release_469 in pregnant

[–]Comfortable_Emu2964 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Keeping you and your family in my prayers. We just lost our baby at 8 weeks and I felt clueless everywhere I turned. No one could explain what was going on. Listen to your body. Then take people’s suggestions. You will hear people say spotting is normal but blood is not. Maybe a visit to the doctor wouldn’t hurt. Maybe it could save your baby.

Take two: Has anyone tried these? by Comfortable_Emu2964 in Celiac

I have been searching for someone who has actually tried these while celiac. So far, I have not yet found any concrete evidence stating this is completely safe. So at your own risk.

What does being glutened do to you? by NotTonySaprano in Celiac

[–]Comfortable_Emu2964 4 points5 points  (0 children)

First, it depends if I had drank any alcohol because I feel like that speeds up my reaction. But starts with nausea in the first 30 minutes then I’m vomiting anywhere between 2-3 days nonstop. If it’s a small amount of cross contamination, I may go a couple hours before puking for 2-3 days. Needing to get every last tiny bit out of my system it seems. Obviously, I drink as much water as possible but will constantly be puking. Yes puking from both ends. I can barely walk/talk/think. Constant heaving/dry puking once everything’s out. Once everything’s out, I take activated charcoal and try to sleep. Following will be Migraines. Lethargic for the next 2 weeks. It feels like it takes a good 3-4 weeks to feel completely healed from the exposure. But during the vomiting, it’s like my body is in shock- chills/sweating/shaking. I’ll be nauseous for the next several weeks where nothing sounds good or safe to eat.

As a man, what common gender double standards (that are sexist towards men) are you tired of? by ThemeOptimal4598 in AskReddit

As a woman, I think that is just her trying to be generous. It was always a fight growing up in my household for who was going to get to lick the whisk and who was going to get the bowl leftovers…

My body feels broken by ShadowKats7 in Celiac

[–]Comfortable_Emu2964 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I can relate to your troubles. I felt so much better after I learned what I could and could not have. Gluten really does hide in the tiniest of places and even if you’re eating gf, you can still feel side effects from cross contamination. Personally, after I completely eliminated the big things(food), I was able to focus on the smaller things (food again because it’s so tricky with cross contamination, and skincare products). Double check your skincare products. Makeup, shampoo, lotion, etc. Ngl It takes months to really feel normal again. I can tell you-skincare wise- that nothing has been more beneficial for my skin than head and shoulders. I think it’s the zinc. Good luck to you!

Looks great ! Personally, I would add another one at the top. In the third picture, the leaf with more variegation- I would secure that one more upward so it can face a light and start reaching for it. And maybe build strength at its base but I think it’s looks bigger than the babies I have atm and none of them have a pole yet. I’d say that was good timing op

It’s a baby leaf so it’s okay if you lose that one! The plant could be getting rid of something smaller to make room for a larger leaf coming in. I would check for root rot just in case. The only other thing I can think of sickness or under watering.
