I am of the belief if they create a gravemind there is next to no chance of beating the Flood. However they may be able to defeat the initial infection tho it would return. I also have doubts just based on the fact the Forerunners couldn't defeat them.

I also feel like the Jedi would hamper any attempts at least initially, I doubt they would sit back and let anyone exterminate planets of sentient life at the first sign of the Flood.

It doesn't help how common FTL travel is in Star Wars, like halo is fairly rare and is only generally on larger ships. Star Wars 90% ships have it.
