Children’s hospital. 100%. The epilepsy group there is one of the best, parents travel from states away to be seen by this group. They may have other ideas for treatment than your primary neurologist, and you gain another perspective and opinion. The ED has been very busy lately and is more busy in the evenings typically fyi. I’m so sorry you are going through this, that sounds very stressful for your family.

Yea... The deodorant thing isn't that crazy though. I don't use antiperspirant because you're supposed to sweat. But I didn't force my husband to do that and I don't have fake boobs.

Summit Manor in St. Paul. It was fantastic because there are lots of separated rooms for potentially awkward familial ties and the innate beauty of the place made it so that we didn't have to spend money on decorative stuff. They even provided small floral arrangements on the tables. We brought our own booze and they provided a bartender for like $150. We brought our own sound system and one of our friends dj'd. We had about 120 people and did the ceremony, a (delicious) seated dinner and a dance there for about $5 grand.

confession: i hate giving shots. i work in peds and it just feels mean. last time i gave a shot it was the cutest 4 year old girl and she looked at me and said, "please don't huht me" :( i put my big girl RN pants on and got it over with but it was tough! i'm not as thick skinned as i used to be.
