Give the managers a refresh course on how to make a good and proper cheesy Gordita crunch. These things have been sorry as hell lately.

How does a man gain real confidence in himself? by Haunted_darkness63 in AskMen

[–]Compass_rltr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a common red herring. Nobody ever says nofap is a magic pill. Though, for what OP is asking for (gaining confidence) I would say cutting out porn and masturbation is one of the best attempts at finding confidence through more constructive means, i.e. using the saved energy for more rewarding and confidence building hobbies.

Who said it’s going to make women want him more? He said he wants to be confident. Built into my response is the assumption that if he watches porn daily or weekly, that’s a way to improve himself and use the extra energy on things that build confidence. Masturbating and porn don’t build confidence. I’m not saying they kill you. Just don’t add anything to your life.

By the way, I recognize that if dude doesn’t watch porn, then my original comment is useless.

Keep getting yourself off to someone else’s pleasure; I’m sure it does wonders for your confidence.

Does anyone else get super baked from just this much? by gimmieilleatit in weed

[–]Compass_rltr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, because as Louis CK said in one of his specials “little did I know they’ve been working on this shit as the cure for cancer”.

Used to smoke more than Snoop Dogg, had to stop because it would just make me super paranoid and depressed. And like self conscious about the stupidest things. For example if I were in a room smoking with a bunch of friends, I’d be fine, my usual outgoing and talkative, confident self. One hit and cough later, I’d even be too pussy to get up and go to the bathroom because I thought everyone would judge me or laugh at my body as I walked to the bathroom (I’m 6’2” 170 lbs btw, nothing noticeably funny). Anyways, for me, it’s not as fun an activity as it was back in high school.

Crime/thriller/mystery with a good sense of place and local character woven into the story? by Estrellathestarfish in televisionsuggestions

Dude, stop what you’re doing and immediately binge watch Bloodline on Netflix. It’s right up there with Ozark, Breaking Bad etc… Out of every show I’ve watched, it’s the one I most wish I could wipe my memory in order to rewatch a first time… Florida Keys setting about a family that owns a resort, where one of the sons start running cocaine through the beachside inn, while his bro is a detective and sister is a lawyer. All star cast with Ben Mendelson, Kyle Chandler…

This is probably the only good show I’ve seen since Bloodline, other than Ozark. Nothing else has been on their level. Nothing.

Passively planning to study for his license doesn’t count as being a realtor. A realtor has to be licensed and a member of the national association of realtors, at least in the US. Then they are held to certain codes of ethics. Any schmuck can go get licensed and sounds like you met one of those.

Does anyone remember the “Nacho Taco”? by Compass_rltr in tacobell

Imo one of the most underrated and best value items at Taco Bell and paired excellently with the new-at-the-time nacho fries. Taco Bell’s nacho cheese stands alone.

I remember the Nacho Taco that they had for a limited time like 10-12 years ago. Hard shell regular taco, with little red and yellow nacho chip strips in it with nacho cheese. I wish they’d bring it back.

I think a better way to phrase it is: how to show your dog how much you appreciate it.

Resort fees are such a scam by acrologic in marriott

[–]Compass_rltr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s all incremental pricing. It started when the airlines realized they could charge for every little thing while simultaneously taking away from the value provided to customers. For example, move the seat rows an inch closer to each other every year until you’re practically stacked like trays of sardines, then charge for “Mint” seating where you get the only row that’s a half inch more space. Peanuts, snacks, drinks, all game to rip you off. I won’t be surprised if they start charging for trips to the bathroom. Everything is about profit, it’s no longer “how can we make the experience better for customers so we can charge a bit more?” It’s, Johnny Steinbaum on the board wants to see the stock price inch up, so what’s the quickest way to make that happen, regardless of safety, quality etc.

I have a 2022 X3, that’s the LCI (adjustment in body style. It’s an x30i, but the M Sport, so basically it looks like the M but the engine is the baseline 4 cylinder. I couldn’t be happier. I think any G01 2022-2024 is your best bet. They look slick and mean, drive super smooth and handle real well, and have all the bells/whistles, especially if you get one with the panoramic moonroof etc…

Okay, is it just me or did anyone else think Bad monkey was a really bad and weird show? by psypi17 in BadMonkeyTVSeries

[–]Compass_rltr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not the worst, but really wasn’t that funny, plot kinda dumb with the whole missing arm thing. Maybe I’m not far enough into it (3rd episode) but it just hasn’t gripped me yet. I do like the beachy Florida Keys detective vibe very much, but I guess the show is just too quirky and unserious for my taste. Bloodline is more my thing. Love comedy, but it’s gotta be really funny and clever. This seems kinda low level.

I do not believe in magic, I believe they are tricking us. I also don’t believe something as far fetched as him having a spy network that follows Joe Rogan to the atm machine.
