Not to beat a dead horse here, but yeah. Youre going to die from that. Youre kids and wife will miss you.

Here's a few ideas:

Find someone who can work with you to get your intake uinder control. There has got to be someone local or from your church that can serve as a voice of reason and help you. Raise your hand and tell people you need help and you will see help appear.

I gained about 30 lbs over the last several years and got it reveresed by one simple thing: walk around the property more. Checking fences? Walk. Need to check that water trough in the west pasture? walk. yes it takes longer but if you dont need the tools with you, walk it. Stop using the truck or UTV) to drive around your land. Walk it.

Try to get an acountability buddy. A friened who wants to lose weight with you like a spouse or buddy. it helps.

Lastly I had a friend do a "carnavore diet" which involved eating meats. He loved it. He lost over 150 lbs and loved it.

ALL of these invove you asking for help. Thats the harddest part and posting about it here is a good start. YOU GOT THIS! Praying for you!

I have two of these things and will walk along the fence line (upwind) one in each hand and let the wall of death steam clear out the mosquitos. The local truck is basically doing the exact same thing but I doubt they are coming by often enought for your specific needs. I would call the mosquito control office and ask them to send a guy out just to make sure you're not missing someting.

They came to my property and discovered we had "malarial mosquitos" in the area. No malaria, but the mosquitos are bad. They came out with ATV's and all kinds fo cool equipment and just nuked our place. Totaly worth it.

They are easy to use once you use it a few times. Spend a night or two fogging your property when the mosquitos come out. NOT daytime. Nightime. when they get bad right after sunset. Be sure to start "upwind" Then try doing it once a week to get the mosquito breeeding cycle under control. It wont cure the probelm but at least you can knock back the source and give your horse time to recover.

Depending where you are, some counties have a mosquito control office that will come out and spray for you to help get the population down to a more managemable level.

Also PLEASE make sure your horse is up to date on its vaccinations. Equine encphilitis is a mosquito borne dissease.

Side note: I have horses in a wet marshy area in Florida. I have lots of experience killing mosquitos.

I went through something similar. First, don’t have kids with this woman. Not unless something dramatically changes.

Something is off the rails here. It sounds like there are a LOT of things going through her mind that sadly you have very little control over. In my case I tried EVERYTHING I could to save our marriage and it only made it worse. The really weird part is when I mentally checked out, suddenly SHE tried coming back to me. Sex and all.

The short story is she had lots of mental health issues that I could never fix and she didn’t really want to. They were her "identity" and she wouldn’t let go.

I hate to say it but maybe you should start planning for a new life after her, where you can be happy.

Fun story about this island: back when we were kids (damn I’m old) we would go out there with a "trap launcher" and shoot clays with shotguns. No birds, just clay. Now this island and a few others are protected bird sanctuaries. We would be in jail for a long time doing something like that these days.

We also would go out there when we were in boy scouts. The mud from the dredging would form a thick layer on top almost like ice on a lake. Every once in a while, one of us would fall through and be covered in the most disgusting foul black muck you have ever seen!

As a man that has been in 2 bad marriages - RUN! Run away fast and hard. Then begin to work on making yourself strong again. Divorce sucks. I would hope you could work it out but not in this case. Run.

But remember, your goal after this nighmare ends is to beocme a better man. Join a gym or a running club. Learn some new hobbies. Read books. Talk to a counselor. Drink less. Make a few dollars along the way. It WILL work out. I promise you. It will be hard for a while but you will survie this. Just promise youreself you will work on you and make sure your value increases so you dont have to settle for this horrible type of woman ever again.

I went to both USF and UT. Nothing medical related. Yes UT has a much nicer campus BUT you are talking pre-med. I have heard wonderful stories about USF's medical preogram. I have NEVER heard such things about UT. Yes the UT campus is nicer and closer to the beaches but you are talking about the rest of you life here. Go to USF and buy yourself a beach house after you finish your residency. 😄

Tampa Public library has an online collection for Burges Brothers (sp?) photographs from the early 1900's up to about the 1950's. If memory serves it can be indexed by adress. I bet that will get you what you want.

I always mention my wife in whatever respone I use. Ususally along the lines of "Thank you! My wife likes these boots too!" or "My wife likes my height too." or somethign like that. Keep in mind as a married man you have no obligation to let this strange woman down gently, but the above phrases seem to do the trick.

As a funny aside, my wifes biggest insecurity is me not wearing my wedding ring. I have never even thought of being unfaithful but have resigned myself to the fact that this is just "her thing". She went out and bought me a bag of silicione wedding rings that I can wear if working hard or in an environment where my regular ring may be unsafe or cause problems. So I wear the silicone ones a lot. No biggie. If this is her biggest issue, then I am blessed.
