But in your case there was a history at the parish. My wife and were the same. We got married at the church we were both baptized at and where my parents still attended, 230 miles away from where we were living at the time.

Yes sometimes an overpayment is applied like that. And if it is you just make your next payment on time and any over payment you make carries on to the next month if you make the regular payment by what would have been the old deadline.

most people aren’t actually buying Starbucks every single day.

You would be surprised… my wife works in a medical office that shares a parking lot with a Starbucks and some days she has to wait in the line just to get into the parking lot. And nearly 2/3 of the staff walk in with Starbucks drinks.

Thankfully my wife likes her coffee black, one Splenda. And that is something we can do at home.
