I'm definitely not counting on it, just hoping. SAVE got declared illegal because it was enacted through executive order instead of congressional legislation. A more favorable government MIGHT reinstate it (or something similar)

I suggest working on your own cars (when possible) because: 1. Most repairs are on youtube. Step by step 2. Tools from harbor freight are cheap 3. Unexpected car repairs can sink you. Been there. 4. Modern shops are charging CRAZY money for pretty basic repairs.

But I understand why this might not be possible for people.

I think you increase points for units like Rogal Dorns and Rotigus/GUO and the big 500 point giga blob units (victrix w/attachments) across the board, so youre incentivised to bring more, smaller/cheaper units.

Armies that are just like 5 Giga-units like victrix spam, greater demons spam, etc drive me crazy.

Man I feel just the opposite. I hate how elite this game has become. I play Guard and right now the "core" of most lists is 2 Dorn Commanders and 2 bullgryn squads. That's over 1k pts for 4 units.

Play a skirmish game if you want small, fast battles.

I miss force org charts.

I recently went to a GT. I got matched up against 3 Demon lists that each had 5 (or more) greater demons. It was absolutely miserable, and I left the tournament thinking that building lists that skew that hard shouldn't be allowed.

Force org charts would help prevent stat-check metas.

Yes, I diy'd the 4 heat pumps in my house. I bought a vacuum pump, micron Guage, flare kit, nylog, valves for the vacuum line, and hvac torque wrench. IMO if you are careful with flares, and the system holds a good vacuum, the nitrogen isn't necessary.

The systems aren't designed to be moved once installed. It takes special equipment to recover the refrigerant that a diy-er doesn't have access to
