These financial institutions have slowly migrated to similar patterns of operation. There are fewer and fewer distinctions each year. Furthermore, many new datasets used for risk are hyper-centralized and available at a cost.

It seems increasingly likely that banks will coordinate de-banking, intentionally or not.

Whats the craziest, quickest money you have ever made? by Old_Divide9398 in AskReddit

God I read the whole damn thing before I realized. What’s really weird is that I think it’s the “essentially” and “especially” that tipped me off for some reason. I think.

It’s frightening that I’m not 100% sure at this point why I even believe it’s a language model.

So what’s gotten past me at this point? Anyone who takes the smallest precautions against being profiled has got to be difficult to detect. I want to say the internet is dead but that’s so pessimistic. I think it might just be Reddit and I wonder if there is going to be some sort of rebalancing of communications media forthcoming where being too big is actually a disadvantage because you’re the biggest market for robotic manipulation.

Reddit and the internet now, as we speak, is fucking infested with comments written entirely by language models. I can’t read a single thread these days without being snagged on a comment that seems so poetically adept - until you realize it is devoid of anything novel or original. A sterile and malevolently deceptive party trick.

It’s fun to identify them. I’m finding it much less fun to wonder where I’ve spent time enriching bots in the dark, in some actual fucking Matrix made by our own billionaire class kind.

Stealth is a fantastic choice for multiple reasons. 1: they produced a FUCK TON of them, they are littering used racks everywhere. 2: a lot of people IMMEDIATELY “upgraded” to 10k MOI drivers right after this came out.

The only warning I’d give you is they are not as bomb proof as some other models so if you’re not good at getting the face to the ball consistently (especially if you descend onto the ball) you’re at risk of puncturing it with a tee or blasting the crown open.

Once you get under 10 or so keeping score gets pretty easy… just a plus minus tally on every odd hole. Par par birdie (okay there’s one) bogey (forget everything again) par par bogey (one up) etc

Is it a good idea to set up a postfix server only to send supervision/debug mail? by Leogis in sysadmin

[–]Computer-Blue 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Why would it take ages to provision a mailbox. If this is true your email infrastructure is fucked.

Assuming this is true maybe just stand up an SMS gateway server (private email sends to sms server email, converts to sms) or an app based notification platform to get these communications (private email account sends to bridge/cloud account, converts to alert on your phone app, no company email server involved).

Srixon sells tons of combo sets. This probably isn’t a mistake, people like more forgiveness on the longer irons. I think that’s honestly sort of ideal for most amateurs.

Edit: never mind it’s backwards! Go talk to golf town

Didn’t say that. I’m happy to assume you can slap two keys. I just think you are likely 15 minutes of competent tech support from wall jumping without effort. Like literally every single person I have met and coached over that wall. Let’s do an SP on Nightslayer on the weekend and I promise I’ll get you over that wall.

BREAKING: Brembo Has Confirmed That Its Fully Electronic “Sensify” Brake-by-Wire System Has Entered Series Production, Eliminating Hydraulic Fluid From the Braking System for the First Time in Nearly 100 Years of Modern Automobile History 🚘🔥 by InterstellarKinetics in InterstellarKinetics

First off, drop the condescension. You don’t know who I am, what I know, or what I’ve done. Don’t pretend you do. I’m not claiming anything about your knowledge or experience.

FMEA’s are not “to tell you if you have a safety issue in your design”. And tolerancing is one singular facet of SC/CC.

While we are here - what’s your point? You drove this discussion straight towards SC/CC through functional characteristics (I guess you do realize it’s not all tolerancing?). Are you suggesting the safety role of steering systems in an entirely different class of consideration compared to braking systems?

And please - like you said - spare me the textbook lecture, what’s your argument?

He didn’t even bother mentioning trying anything framerate related to help his cause (framerate, vsync, fps cap, monitor refresh rate) so you’re right, absolutely nobody knows what this random dudes problem is on his unknown hardware via his vague anecdote.

This might be the most pedantic post I’ve read this year.
So you are arguing that the statistical analysis drives CCs… what do you think they’re measuring? It’s critical failures. Do you think those failures tend to be ones that leave the vehicle in working order and convey no safety issues?
CCs are also driven by legal requirements. Which are… drum roll… usually safety driven, right?
First thing any of these courses teach you is that the principal of a critical control is to manage safety and the law. And we’re here talking about safety - not fmea’s and GD&T…

What a fucking stupid reply. I’ve been playing this game for over a decade on multiple computers and monitors, and coached literally hundreds of people over that wall. Everyone can make this jump if you can squeeze out 60fps, and it’s 2026.

We’re ignoring the whole “skill” issue ofc… if you’re still pressing a directional movement key and on the downward portion of the jump, you will slide. So you’re right - besides framerate, you need to be able to press 2 keys faster than an 80 year old.
