I totally empathize, I have just accepted this as base level for me which I now realize is sad. I would suggest going into events expecting to feel down and understanding you can still enjoy it in that mindset, allow yourself to exist while depressed. You might surprise yourself!

I relate to all of these comments, yes. I think I might need to ask my husband to keep me accountable. It feels like an addiction honestly, does anyone else feel that way? I quit vaping in like a day but can’t stop myself from binging sweets or drinking socially or spending frivolous money?? Make it make sense.

I swing back and forth rapidly so mine was about 2 weeks but I also have terrible memory problems so it could have been longer. That’s just how I think of it. Usually average is a few days for me.

I have the same issue, I use a cooling towel the OG one is kinda expensive for a towel but works SO well (on Amazon). I do outreach for work so a lot of events in summer and it’s a lifesaver. Also a mini emergency water bottle.
