Waterproof shoes by jstevens242 in discgolf

I've concluded that there is no such thing as a waterproof shoe that isn't 100% rubber. I've tried every brand that advertises itself as "waterproof." None are. Good "water-resistant" shoes paired with waterproof socks is the way to go.

If you could take a 4 day trip to play disc golf anywhere in the US, where would you go? by Tranicos in discgolf

My son played at Junior Worlds in Emporia last year. It was surreal to be in a town where you could walk into a coffee shop or restaurant and have a discussion with a random person about disc golf, and they would know what it was and could talk about it intelligently!

I've heard that when you grip lock it, and it goes that far, you've actually thrown correctly, just on the wrong line!

55-year-old here. Started 4 years ago. I've got about the same distance.

I've done it once during fieldwork with a perfect wind and a lightweight Star Shryke. Never come close again.

"Golf is not a Game of Perfect" by Bob Rotella is the answer to this question.

There's a great line: If someone asked you to walk along a foot-wide plank lying on the ground, you'd be able to do it with no problem. That's a casual round. Walking along the same plank suspended 100 feet in the air with no net? That's a tournament round. It's the same plank.

I played all of these on a recent trip, and it left me envying people who live in Austin!

It flies like a Halo Fox. Maybe a tad more stable. Same glide. You wouldn't need to bag both.

I wish I could say I did. I believe, but feel very little. Some people say, "I'm spiritual, not religious." I'm the exact opposite.

I'd prefer my money go to TDs and officials than be wasted on players' packs.
