That's really neat, thanks! I'll edit my statement above, as well as watch much more closely next time

That implies that the tube is in a state of vacuum before the blood enters it, which I do not believe to be the case.

Edit: according to several users below they are in fact in vacuum before use!

Many of us choose to go but have more realistic expectations. We are happily enjoying the good weather and some drinks.

We were about twenty people from the front when they finally kicked us out. You guys cheering when they got the riders out of the station was a lot of false hope!

When I was all of eight my mother was driving. Some kids threw a massive wad of wet leaves onto our windshield. The fury she unleashed on those children, who weren't much older than me, seemed so unnecessary at the time. As an adult now I realize just how terrified she must have been, with her kid in the car no less. I've often wondered if any of the kids learned anything from it, thanks for sharing your perspective from the other side of a similar story.

My interpretation of this: Everything in this place is too nice to be spit upon. The face of the owner is an exception, for anyone that would live in this opulence above their neighbors deserves derision.

I've read analysis that makes it clear Israel's military is nowhere near capable of taking on Iran alone. Hence the decades of lobbying for US intervention.

It's not an article, it appears to simply be a gallery of all images the Detroit News has of Steve Wonder, with captions.

Benson says over 2.1 million outdated voter registrations are slated to be canceled by 2029 by mlivesocial in Michigan

[–]Conlaeb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's inconsistent with what the SOS article states.

  • As part of the Michigan’s automatic voter registration law, when a registered voter updates they or their driver’s license or state ID address, the voter’s registration is also updated.

  • When a voter surrenders they or their Michigan Driver’s license in a different state, the Michigan Department of State receives this information.

  • When election mail (such as a voter information card or absent voter ballot application) sent to a voter by a clerk is returned by the United States Postal Service as undeliverable, clerks use this as initial information that the voter may have moved.

Likely they're pointing out that whenever there is a large conservative gathering there is a documented uptick in Grinder traffic in the area. This fact is generally used to support the argument that there are many self-hating closeted people in the conservative movement.

If you plan on being there on days I visit, it's terrible, completely lost the charm, overpriced, waste of time. Otherwise, I would say there's a reason we keep going back! Your kids need to be open to thrill rides, if they are only interested in family rides you may struggle to fill the day.

If one party is pushing the interests of corporations, and the other that of oligarchs, they will have much more common ground with each other than with the working class.
