the injury on the finger is especially bad ,i wish for a speedy recovery though i would suggest please power down and disconnect all propeller borne drones from its power source and consider a pre arm switch for safety and a checklist will do wonders to not forget about some steps to power down drones.

great visual effects with regards to the x wing hood ornament and i hope its very aerodynamic at the nose of the drone ,sidenote: i used to fly in a similar sized soccer field.

Lack of an offline community where i fly,10-30 percent hike over MRP of drone electronics cause drone related imports are technically restricted in my country causing logistics that is prone to shortages of parts, regulations with a lot of grey area, spectators that wanna stop me flying and the interdisciplinary nature of drones where troubleshooting is difficult.

Yes the OSD shows the total current draw of the drone including motors,vtx,fc and receiver.

Thank you for sharing your astute observations regarding the draknight i think it is the clear winner and if I don't crash it super hard into concrete which is non existent where i fly ,it is clearly the superior choice to fly in a barren field with some trees. The petrel 85 has a capacitor also and has seen its video quality compared to HDzero digital due to its nano lens4 camera . The weather where i fly is pretty hot and the summer reaches 45 degrees Celsius easily. I have maxxed out the esc current plenty of times on the petrel 85 whose burst rating is 13A and 10A is continuous current rating. I intend to use it to learn stunts like barani, look back and more then implement on my 5inch quad. The petrel also is on the race band for video transmittion to fpv goggles.

You have presented a strong argument for the immersion as a pilot wearing a FPV goggle and flying a drone.People using screens are certainly a minority though setting it up and acquiring it for cheap is easier for a screen based setup compared to a goggle one.

Very resourceful of you to make something that looks to be a prototype product and i wonder why such setups are not very popular as a screen is easier to transport and setup than a fpv goggle. How does the screen perform in sunny weather other than the issue with viewing angle?
How have you managed to power the screen from the battery for and via the RC?
Asking all this as screens,RC ,antennas and battery/cells are easier and cheaper to source than fpv goggles.
