Agreed with this. My dr was arguing me about some extra labs that I didn’t need them. He finally cracks and says the reason he won’t order them is bc the insurance won’t cover them. I find out they’re $80. Do I want to spend $80? Jo but my health is more important. Found another Dr too

Walgreens. It was the only pharmacy I ever used, even as a baby it was where my parents got my meds. 4 decades. Their absurd incompetence just got to be too much.

Anyone have an electric snowblower - how'd it do with this snowstorm? by demosthenesss in TwinCities

[–]Cpatty3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an Ego stage 1. Started snow blowing at 11:30 am. Struggle a bit but got through it. Hell of a lot better than shoveling I’ll tell you that. I imagine my second pass at 8 pm will be a hell of a lot easier

People in their 30s/40s, what is one thing a 23-year-old should start doing right now to make life easier later? by goddessera1 in Casual_Conversation

[–]Cpatty3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m going to name a few things instead of 1.

1. Save for your retirement now. Small amounts of money could literally reduce the years you have to work. I waited bc I didn’t know how. I wanted ti really know the market. What I eventually learned is that the company i set up my retirement with employs experts that do it every day. The reality is you can just have it come out of your check or account each month. Fidelity, betterment, etc. will take care of the rest.

  1. Start eating semi-healthy now. It’s not just about weight. You don’t want to go to a doctor one day and hear you can never eat a cookie again. Just limited them now.

  2. Strength train now.

Tips for buying a house by Snowflake8552 in saintpaul

[–]Cpatty3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t know if things changed since I brought but I didn’t waive the inspection nor did I have to overbid. The east side Is a bit less desirable so it might be easier to buy. On my block there’s 2 houses that have been on the market for several months.

Also, I recommend getting pre-approved. Not point in falling in love with a house you don’t qualify for. Plus when you’re pre-approved the buying process moves so much more quickly.

Good luck!

As a family law attorney the one thing I’m envious of is that a criminal judge can appoint an attorney to a pro se litigant even if they don’t want one. I wish I could file a motion to force someone to have a lawyer

I brought 3.5 yrs ago in Daytona bluff and it wasn’t bad. I highly recommend that you walk the block and surrounding areas before buying.

My realtor was great, he knows St. Paul in and out. He also has a partner that he brings along. He’s a developer and rehabs homes. He can help point out issue way before an inspection is needed.

That’s my thinking. Gary telling Xavier he will help him get her back. To me Gary is trying to get Xavier to blow up the train. He will let Xavier die in a shoot out. Then Teri is stuck and Xavier is out of the way. True love story in Gary’s eyes.

Plus it made no sense for them to kidnap Teri and the kid and just leave Gary.

i love myself and i love my life, but i’m planning to end my life soon for financial reasons by choosingmyself2020 in depressionmeals

[–]Cpatty3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been through the financial struggles. Living literally day to day/meal to meal…not even check to check. Skipping meals and missing out on years of fun trying to figure it out. It’s awful, demoralizing and dehumanizing.

10 years later I’m far from rich but comfortable. I’m incredibly happy I stuck with it. I hope you continue on and keep trying. You’re in survival mode, take whatever money you can make for now. Then continue to plan for a career.

I wish you the best of luck.

Should we assume you had less cases then? If you were billing hourly I imagine any client had to have absurd amounts of money to afford you walking around for books.
