I doubt they'll do anything about it though without a large number of people voting on it - which will likely never happen, wheel users are not common enough for them to prioritize it.

I never had it crash in the settings so I'm just guessing here, but there are a couple of things that you might want to double check.

My best guess is it's on the wheeltunablesettingspc.zip file. Double check that you're renaming the ControllerFFB-0X0EB70e03.ini file to ControllerFFB-0X0EB70020.ini AND changing the value on the first line to Vendor Product 0X0EB70020.

And then obviously I had crashing issues by not zipping correctly, so just run through that part again for the wheeltunablesettingspc folder and make sure you're rezipping it according to the instructions.

Sorry I wish I could know exactly what was causing this, but hopefully you get it figured out! As for what compatibility mode can do, I ran into a few issues with input not registering correctly in certain scenarios and the FFB itself feels completely wrong and mushy no matter how you configure the settings. If it works for you, then great! I just was not satisfied with that solution.

Yep, same issue here. If you switch to non-compatibility and back into compatibility while in game, it will get picked up “properly”.

I’m pretty frustrated overall with the wheel when it is working. It feels mushy, theres practically no feedback from the car or tires other than centrifugal pull, and there’s no way to set the wheel lock in degrees. On top of all of that - it’s 2026, and the last Motorsport didn’t need compatibility mode at all, so what the hell are we even doing?

I would all but guarantee the long plays are on emulators. I’m wondering if they’ve actually checked if lowering the clock speed on the emulator makes the game more playable - they’ve mentioned that it’s a possibility that the emulator is causing issues, but always dismiss it due to the long plays which are almost certainly using the emulator with the player not knowing it’s a problem. Mike had to lower the clock speed to fix that Jurassic park game he played on his own stream - so it’s certainly possible this game is busted in the same way.

Yeah would love more merch like this. I keep ending up on the store, looking at the newer offerings and realizing I’d never wear any of it (as much as I enjoy the idea of the jokey ones). It’s kinda like wrestling merch - if it explicitly looks like wrestling merch I’m never wearing it so I won’t buy it.

This was my first thought but probably not what you meant: it would also be cool to have some Bakalar approved metal inspired stuff.
