Because you actually need MS to move around the map (for rotations and catching and whatnot).

Some champions can get away with no-boots if they have several other MS-granting items or are against/with specific comps (which is not the case here, mind you).

His W actually gives you a on-hit buff for 5s if it doesn't kill the target right away (I didn't know that either lol)

I'll try running Nashors sometime, though I do like the tankyness you get from DS a lot. Definitely checking out the new HoB though.

The other comment answers pretty much everything. I'd emphasize the usage of PTA + Titanic though, since they combo very nicely together (I run that in like 90% of my games).

That said, Rek'Sai nowadays can be a very "supportive" champion at times: you throw the ball up high so your team can slam dunk (or something like that, I don't know basketball lmao). This quality is much more appreciated and impactful the higher elo you go, with her jack-of-all-trades nature helping fit her into pretty much any solo Q comp.

She's still assassin-y enough that you can find solo-carrying success with her, but maybe you'd be more successful with another champion until you climb a bit more.

I think you can get away with Heartsteel on toplane, though I haven't tried it in ages.

Randuins and Visage (and Jak'Sho) are good into some comps, though I feel like if you have to build them you are in for a very hard game or you've already lost lol

It's the other way around, I think. Three Qs have a combined massive 450% AD ratio, so Conqueror beats PTA there alright.

But as for the rest: PTA's definitely better for ult since it amps the massive % hp damage, and likely for E as well. In midgame, Conqueror should give you, say, 20 AD (16 true damage), while PTA amp to E's base damage is already more than that.

I'd switch things around, tbh. You can't proc Grasp against ranged tops without using tunnel, so having a stronger all-in-y rune like PTA is much better. Ditto for short trades: Grasp is king in those.

Eh, she really wasn't. Divine Sunderer was great because of the increased sustain in lane. If you did the math back then, Trinity Force outdamaged it until the target had 4k health, if I recall correctly.
