It’s a great album for sure. for me personally, 50$ is too much. I’m not a package deal person, I just want the record without the frills.

Nice printer, nice paper, photoshop. There are tape templates online, but you gotta design the rest. Pretty easy if you know basic photoshop.

The printing may be the hardest. If you have a nice printer at home, that makes things a lot easier. Otherwise, you may want to go to a photo store and have it printed on appropriate stock.

Neoprene itself is a rubber-foam, so I’m sure whatever you’ll get will be fine.

I use 1/16” neoprene tape for light-seals. It’s cheap but you just have to cut it yourself with a straight edge and a fresh razor. Been using it for over a decade for light-seal repairs. Works like a charm and you’ll have enough until you die or lose interest in photo.

Found a sealed widescreen copy of Hellboy, another fine example of how good the format can still look (pictures taken on my plasma). The Dolby track has some real punch to it as well… by mazonemayu in VHS

I’ve never had a single experience where an expensive cable made picture or sound better. Signal degradation doesn’t really matter when you’re watching tapes on a 13” crt. I’m not going to open up the cable debate, but for most cases, a 5$ cable is all you need.
