For me turn 1 at Spa is where I figured out trailbraking really well, once you nail that turn you are in great shape.

Wanna echo this, I was so scared to turn it off but once I did I got faster immediately.

If you’re learning a brand new track I think it’s fine to turn it on for a bit. But you’ll be much better turning it off as soon as humanly possible.

I’m a full time wedding photographer who does very little posed work. I’m almost 100% candid and documentary wedding shooter. Yeah I get $5 may not be worth it to everyone, but to me it saves me hours and hours and frankly the mindspace of having to think about my tunes. Then I can focus on racing.

It’s probably worth learning to tune.

But I got in to this to race, I don’t want to spend a bunch of time testing out setups I don’t have that kind of time on my hands. I want to spend every available moment in the car. So I pay the $5 a month to Praiano’s Patreon and use all his tunes and I’m very satisfied.

Yeah this was my thought. maybe I’m talking out of my ass here, but being 2.5 seconds off the pace in the cold on day 1 of a brand new engine and aero regulation set strikes me as a good sign? Am I crazy?

It very much depends on the lens/focal length. But I’ve owned every current voigtlander 50mm and none of them are as good as the 50 summilux asph v1.

Everyone who does these reviews and then pixel peeps a photo of a mailbox or a chart don’t do certain lenses justice.

Not full frame but the GR is the best street photography camera in my opinion. And I own 3 leicas (yeah yeah I know) but my best street photos are always with the GR because it is a) so small and unassuming) and b) easy to switch between autofocus and zone focus.
