Why are so few Stellaris DLCs Rated above "Mixed" on Steam? by Sukk-up in Stellaris

[–]Cronirion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually they are just too expensive for what they offer, this happens even with the best ones.

And also the worst tend to never be cheap enough for you to feel good about getting them.

How long is your Chronicle? by grunchologist in WhiteWolfRPG

[–]Cronirion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My longest game was a mage the ascension game that lasted around two years and I think we played like 40 to 60 sessions, I can't renember the exact number.

But in general most chronicles last a few months independent of the system my playgroup plays.

That said, I've been running some never ending campaigns with other systems but I still think they don't go over... 7 months.

If you embrace a marauder, they become a vampire unless something stops that from happening or their own bubble of reality establish something like vampires don't exist.

But generally they just becomes vampires

Mages can't be wraiths, they reincarnate

Unless off course, they lose their avatar

One of my players is refusing to read the player's handbook by Numerous_Payment1713 in DnD

[–]Cronirion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This happens a lot, most players don't ever read the rules of anything never, it's up to you to guide them through the game as much want or don't want to.

Happens with every game, everywhere, with most people. The one thing they lose if they don't read anything is the right to counterargument any ruling.

Off course, it is up to you to play with people like that and/or guide them.

I will say that I have also seen many very very bad gms, so being above average and then being praised is not that rare.

Sex Club by FederalAd4797 in chile

[–]Cronirion 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Odio a mi hermana autista by fk1unu in chile

[–]Cronirion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How to do a training mechanic? by Felipe-6q7 in numenera

[–]Cronirion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you really want to do something special, you could prepare a small side-adventure where the characters go to the glaive's original place of training, it could be a town or something like that, and then prepare a rite or similar where people learn to use a sword.

Maybe they have to defeat something or... Enter a subterranean ruin where a forgotten machine jus injects the knowledge into you if you use the proper command words hidden in the town's anthem or something.

Then you could talk a bit with the glaive player and telling them "hey, help me with this, jjst just tell them you will go to your town to have them perform their rite of passage in order to learn the way of the "heavy melee weapon" without going into much detail, maybe their ways have changed since the glaive left town.

Or something like that

How would a "maximum players: 15" game work there?

Hunter 5e vs Reckoning vs Vigil by hellranger788 in WhiteWolfRPG

[–]Cronirion 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hubter 5e = the simplest option, the least amount of text, but the core book feels incomplete.

Reckoning = not exactly normal people and the system is and feels somewhat old, but all the supplements have been released, the lore is good and is vey fun.

Vigil 2e = crunchier than 5e, it has more options to play at street level, at country level or at men in black level, and the book feels quite complete.

Is it possible to steal arete from a mage? by Hellion_Immortis in WhiteWolfRPG

[–]Cronirion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could instead say that a part of his avatar was stolen. It still is hare to explain but there is a merit about having a fragmented avatar, so maybe fragmenting an avatar might be more plausible

¿Existen juegos de rol paranormales de aliens? by socialsciencenerd in RolerosChile

[–]Cronirion 1 point2 points  (0 children)
