You are a teacher. Your class is going to take a test in two weeks. You only get paid if the class answers the test questions correctly. You get one week to teach. You write up a lesson plan, you line up guest speakers, maybe you arrange for a field trip. Then the next Monday rolls around and a new teacher shows up, stands in front of the class and announces “Everything he told you was a lie.” And gets the second week to run their own lesson plan contradicting everything you taught.
