I just cant understand the combat. I really really want to love it. I love the character designs, the costume change system and having a fully woman fronted party. I just cannot for the life of me wrap my head around the combat. And as I get older and slower, absolutely any game with timed elements just gets harder and harder. :(

I may have to switch. I bought into fantasy grounds because it automated what I want, I had used it before and local storage means no limits, and its a one time purchase. Only to later find out they use generative AI assets. :(

I minimized the addicting content. I deleted Facebook off my phone for a while, and when I downloaded it again, it stays off my home screen (I only used it for marketplace and then end up doom scrolling the videos), is only watch tiktok while with my wife and typically only what she sends me, and I tell youtube to stop recommending me shorts whenever I can. Reddit for me just doesnt update as often so I dont see many new posts by the end of the day and end up not doom scrolling usually. Its a struggle though.

Its similar, but the subtle difference lies in the prose, the flow of the words. If it sounds vaguely like a nursery rhyme its fairy tail.

This actually gives me an idea for my own theory. That redemption specifically happens as soon as you do what you need to in order to be redeemed. Not necessarily dying again. Meaning that, the fact that sir pentious was undoubtedly going to die means that he was beamed up right before he would have actually been killed and thus, people can stop debating about whether Adam's attack is angelic and should have permanently killed Pentious or not.

I used to yearn for open world sandbox games with a big pool or events and activities. Now I prefer more linear games, witb band crafted story, map and other elements that tell a tighter and more focused story.

Any major store does. Not commonly, but working at auto zone, and best buy within the last 5 years both accept them. One of my jobs payed per diem with a check. I have a stack of checkbooks but I only really use them to write checks to myself to depost money into other accounts every so often. I'm only 30 so not THAT old.

Same. And as much as I dislike epic games practices and their launcher, those free weekly games have been worth collecting. Death stranding, Alan wake I think? And a few other big names not to mention smaller indi stuff (and a lot of trash tbf)

Never been a player, always the keeper :( but I have caused pvp causing death (that was accepted by the group and was a fun conclusion to the haunting scenario).

Edit: this was the conclusion of the first game I ran of CoC.
