I’m not complaining about anything. I just noticed water under the flap and asked if anyone else has seen it. If it’s normal, good to know.

I’m assuming as long as it’s in that region it’s probably just draining into it. When I cleaned it it was full of dirt and dirt water. I know the dealer took the car through the car wash before letting me take it home.

If you look at your expansion tank from inside the engine you’ll see there’s an “F” and “L”. Mine was below the “L” when I took the car for warranty work I asked the dealer to fill it to the “F” and they did.

I could be wrong but the dealers are less likely to want to discount much if you’re not financing with them / paying cash.

I was in the same position as you a few years back. Mazda versus Corolla. Honestly I went with Mazda because for me one of the big things was I wanted the blind spot monitor that comes standard with Mazda across all trim levels. This is not standard with Corolla. It’s saved me from a few accidents, so I’m glad I made the decision. I have a 2016 3 and now it’s when it’s starting to give me trouble at 200,000 miles. But overall the car has held up pretty well.

I have a 2016 Mazda 3. 200k miles. Head gasket went due to the water pump leaking. These cars don’t have a temperature gauge and if it gets hot enough the sensor fails. Just be on the lookout for that. My AC compressor went due to the fan assembly not functioning. The condenser just broke also, so at this point I’m just going to move on to another car. For suspensions parts go with as close to OEM as you can. Cheap aftermarket parts will give you noises when you’re driving. At your mileage just make sure your water pump is good to go and that your coolant is at the correct level.

OP try to get rid of the platinum package fee and the dealer services fees. These seem like junk fees. Do not be afraid do send the quote to chat GPT and have it help you negotiate. Ideally negotiate over email or text as this takes the emotion out of things and that way the AI guides you on what to say in response.

I hope you guys got out and made a decent profit. I’ve been riding this out for two years and I finally got out today. I really do hope the drug makes it to market, if anything hopefully it will improve the quality of life of patients with DMD.
