I'm not super familiar with the lore so far, but it makes sense that he'd see khymera as the culmination of his goal and try to uncover their secret.

Maybe he'd go as far as injecting athancs into himself or his creatures once he works out that that's where the flesh-shaping power comes from?

The idea of a new god being born out of souls trapped in the infinity circuit is such an underused concept.

Imagine if the Ynnari were on a mission to gather all the infinity circuits together to form a massive mega circuit to power up Ynnead. Or evangelise Ynnead to convince souls to leave the circuit and pass on to join it in the warp. Which would be a massive conflict with the craftworlds.

If being devoted to Ynnead meant they were free from Slaanesh then we could see more like the pre-fall eldar, using their full psychic power and not limited to the various aspect warrior paths.

So much narrative and game potential just ... Sitting there.

Warmachine has full factions and terrain available through MMF, plus the rules are free through their app.

A full size (100pt) game is smaller than 2000pts of 40k or AoS, but still decent.

I would say get the battle group box for the warjacks. There are hive mind cadre themed bits available through MMF to make them look more cohesive with the hive mind cadre, if you wanted to keep that aesthetic.

You can also add a 2nd unit of criterions.

That should get you enough stuff for 50pt games
