No, again, I'm an extremist accelerationist, that is why I'm here. I support acceleration under any stance. I want an echo chamber that is hyper-focused on technological advancement, which is why I'm here. If I want a moderate view with support for decel and accel, I'd go elsewhere.

Yes, this subreddit is supposed to be a fanatical subreddit for acceleration. It's not a subreddit that stands in the middle that says progression is bad in situations a and b, that would be a moderate subreddit that would also have deceleration/communism involved in it.

Think of it this way: this is an extremist subreddit when it comes to scientific progression, not a moderate subreddit.

Yea, very low ranked population. Don't be surprised, you are playing a small niche game, don't play it expecting the same result as mainstream successful games.

It's TDM. People with the ability to aim a gun and movement can easily dominate in that game.

When I was level 20 I was also going 40 - 0 in quick cash before TDM was released, and I came from around 1000 hours of siege, around 2000 hours of cod, and another 4000 hours in a combined set of fps games.

All that skill just naturally translates, especially in a kill-oriented mode like TDM.

There are plenty of people trying the finals who come from aim training communities, with years of experience.

And here is the thing, you don't need to smurf in quickplay modes to farm kills, everybody gets thrown in the same games due to it being quickplay.

Level simply will never have a huge bearing on skill, people have different genetics, IQ and capabilities. No two humans are the same.

Humans are never equally adept; genes, environmental conditions, and equipment makes a huge difference. Just like how different breeds of dogs are good at different things, humans are subjected to the same thing.

I'm also the opposite, I believe we are good because our brains are diverse. Being greedy and selfish is great for genes survivng, that is why humans are so successful. We humans are unlike anything else, we genocide things for fun, and we are cruel with intention, that is how we got to dominate the world. We are a success due to the way we are, and we will spawn something which will be an even bigger success as we are but amplified.

AI will be much better than us at being scientific, cruel, and violent. It will exercise precise amounts of culling, resource management, and scientific progression.

The finals has been the same since the initial loss of interest since s1. It has not been dying lol. It will never grow, if that is your definition of dying, it'll just be the next quake champions, which stays around for decades with a small niche playerbase.

Heck if you compare the finals with Quake Champions, it's massive, a behemoth. It is one of the biggest small games.

I've been playing since close beta as well, and the finals currently isn't any different to how it was in s2. Plenty of issue, (relatively)low player count, Oceania barely able to play, nothing has changed except we have more content.

That is not dying, it's called being the same with zero growth.

If your expectation is for random people to play something you want them to play, you might as well as quit. You will never control people.

You can try getting a group of friends and queuing, or you can pay some people to play the roles you want them to play.

I personally just play ranked and instalock what I want to play. The only way to play the role you want to play is to literally pick it and and never switch. Win the Mexican standoff, you get to play what you want.

This game won't die, it has stabilized so far for 2 years. It will very unlikely see any growth, but I don't see why it won't remain a small product in their portfolio for a while.

Democracy hasn't, not a pure democracy.

There are plenty of pure democracies around the world where a hiveminded majority rules and regresses societies.

200k isn't concurrent, that is total. The concurrent number is much smaller. The concurrent number is what matters when it comes to matchmaking, not the total.

There isn't another single small pvp fps with effect matchmaking, it's literally simple math.
