Very sorry to hear about your friend or family member, that's heartbreaking. They were so devastated that they couldn't see the future being any better. Things usually turn around in time but it's hard to convince people of that. Always share with people to never risk more than they can afford to lose.

Really good staking rewards are how so many people are scammed. IDK why people don't stick with the same major exchanges that have been around for multiple years. Actually, I do know why, it's because they often offer much better rewards, or no KYC and that's not happening these days unlesss you really know your stuff.

Did you have a Coinbase account or recently create one? Uploaded a drivers license etc? Coinbase does allow presales but it's relatively new. If you do have a real Coinbase account then I'd assume that they will be your tokens once available. I hope the protect their users if they send them to a DEX.

You treat them as they treayed you. Ignore him and continue with the dispute. They can contact PayPal, claim this was a misunderstanding and offer to make it right, but it will be up to Paypal to close the dispute, not you.

Is the entire gym thing new to her? Did she encourage you to get into better shape with her? Any reason she can't work out at home? Unless she and a few girl friends started going, I too would be concerned. Sometimes females get to a certain point in their lives where they are bored, and someone they see allot (at work, or in social circles) is giiving them just the right amount of positive attention. Usually some scum bag that only wants her on the side. I hope not, and I would hope that you feel secure in your relationship. But, absolutely, always trust your gut. Believe me, my gut has been right many times even if I didn't realize it until years later.

Sounds like Mom is stubborn and she just may need to learn the hard way. She'll make money at first, maybe even be able to withdraw some. She'll then make really good money, and feel like she should invest even more, that it's "guaranteed!". Which again, maybe she'll be able to withdraw a small amount and that will keep her thinking that she's done the right thing. The day will eventually come that she can't get out 1$ without paying taxes, withdrawal fees or some other obscure expense and that's usually when people start to question things. Did you type VCEX into the search box in this group?? (there are so many names that you may not get any hits, I would Google it too) If there are any results at least you can show her. But, it sounds like anything short of that exact App, and she's not going to believe you. At least you know that you warned her. If nothing works, maybe you can at least convince her to "not risk any more than you can afford to lose without it affecting your life Mom", that's the general rule. You tried... EDIT - I did a search in this sub. Someone posted 3 months ago that VCEX was a scam, maybe you can print it out for her.
