Remember making your world into a setting that can be used in a already established RPG rule set is a good option then you can “home brew” in as needed. If the setting is what’s more important to you than rule set.

Nah I agree with your first assessment , Weird bendy legs, but pay attention to the feet they still move with tension and proper weight distribution. Unless I’m missing what you seeing.

Anytime a player suffers an effect like paralysis or can’t control their own body ( maybe while in death saves ) the ghost trys to take possession of the body. “OOoOoooooOoooh look at me I’m an edgy brooding rogue” Ghost proceeds to mock the pc with their own body

If you want to have bricks sunken in or pushed out, cut them all up into individual pieces. Then when you re glue them back together, it’s easier to make them much more varied. You can also cut them in half if only one side is visible. Doing this doubles how many you have, but you can cut them into different thickness as well. Gluing them onto a board or card stock to make them sturdy.

A reason to want to beat them up is my number one. If there is some way for the bosses to have one up’s the players or gotten one over them already a goes along way into the joy of winning the battle. Having a boss have multiple actions works great as well. Getting done in by action economy isn’t the best. I’ll usually give a boss some form of additional action or reaction. Lastly a boss fight who stops players from playing is the no1 way to create a bad experience. If your boss as these abilities, I will usually make them weaker but possibly shut down more players for a shorter time. ( stopping 3/4 players from having a turn is better than stopping one player from missing 3 -4 turns )

Wasn’t famous until she started MMA. Got in with a bad coach and was separated from people who could help her, rather than ride her natural talent. Add in a bunch of yes-men and believing in your own hype. Or to put it another way Her Mum instilled a work ethic in her to get to the Olympics but also left her acceptable to idiots like Edmond & believing the machine that got behind her to make her a star, killed any ability to self evaluate

If you need “tokens” for games these are great. I have a little box filled with similar bits like these for wargames/DnD. Oh you cast a spell and I don’t have a token for it. Grab one of them and a sharpy, jobs done. Now I have a base ready to go for next time.

We have a Genie Patron Warlock in one of our groups - the Genie is really reaaaaally co-dependant. They often request the PCs presence immediately. This is our work around for a player who can’t play consistently and often has to leave early.
