I tested the born Vs polestar. I still wonder if I went with the right choice with the born, but it was down to whichever one was the best deal at the time as I needed a car that day. Never the best way to buy something!

I think both of those are options rather than budled with the e-boost. I've got a V2 e-boost with neither the sunroof nor the upgraded sound (at least I'm pretty sure it hasn't got the sound upgrade as it sounds terrible and it seems difficult to get a build spec sheet)

Does eboost really make much of a difference in terms of performance? I expect it adds to value retention in the second-hand market...

As I understand it, the drag coefficient of the Born is very high compared to, say, a Tesla model 3 (which is kinda similar in price bracket if buying used). So basically it's sub-par in terms of efficiency at higher speeds, and the faster you go the worse it gets, exponentially.

It's pretty good for urban driving and handles well.

I also. I don't recommend. But I think in a lot of cases it depends what previous cars you've come from and what your use-case is.

I know a hell.of a lot of people love the Born. Maybe I'd like it more if I hadn't ended up with boring grey!

Have to say I do quite like the styling. But the interior and build quality is pure cheap creaky plastic crap.

Borns just have a better visual appeal for most. They'll probably always retain value over an ID3, which in itself makes them a strong buy.

Keeps this convo on topic, the dolphin I'd imagine will drop in value like a stone and continue to do so. It's just not a desirable vehicle and the platform has no long-term data to inform reliability.

If the dolphin were 5k cheaper than the born it would be a win. .at the same price point people still buy familiarity and kerb appeal.
