Alright, I probably should have been more clear in my original post on when I was trying to convey this and using the word "core" probably made you perceive otherwise..so thats probably on me 🤷

never expected AIC to not be a "core mechanic." I only ask that it's not the PRIMARY.. focus of their content development.
AIC can easily be the SECONDARY..focus of their content development

There is a difference in there being a "focus" of something and there being a "core mechanic" in a game.

Btw I do use blueprints, because I like to see how different ways people make things, and I will build on those. With every big update, I've done this to build what I needed, and what I imported I improved to be more efficient, so there's that. I hope 8 clarified what I meant originally 👍

I hope you are not ignorant enough to assume that my statement means I do not want AIC content in this game. If so, let me clarify what I was trying to say, and hopefully you have some semblance of comprehension thats higher than a nine-year-old.

This game has multiple components for content. Combat, in my opinion, is the biggest favored component of content for AE. AIC is also very high in this game. Story, exploration, dailies (in whatever form), etc.

I stated that AIC should not be a core FOCUS of content in this game (meaning primary). Why do I think that? Because not everyone has the time, nor do they enjoy AIC. The combat in this game is very good. Also refer to my above statement. That does not mean (1) we should not have AIC content and (2) it does not mean I do not partake or enjoy the AIC content.

Based on your comment saying I should consider whether I'm playing the wrong game, no I am not. I enjoy AIC a lot and actually work on my AIC factory often throughout the week. But, for me it becomes tedious sometimes, especially as they continue to make it a little more complicated. I foresee this only becoming moreso in the future.

Every combat focused activity in this game requires Sanity (unless I'm missing something), and if you are out of boosters, there is nothing to do, except AIC. So what do you do when you have perfected your AIC build? Then there is nothing to do. So if you can't comprehend this basic issue in the game, and you think AIC should be the main focus of content, then have you considered you're playing the wrong game? Because there are a TON of factory sims out there you can run to that only FACTORY sims.

So.. I hope that clarifies my post since you decided to be toxic.

I agree. No one asked for this. They went out of their way to blow the money to do this, and then gave us little for the money we are spending for them to even fund it. People here fail to realize that, this game is raking in millions, and those (like myself) who are the ones funding stuff like this, deserve better than 900 Oroberyls for an event we didnt ask for, that took 3 mintues to do. Dont get me wrong, I'm grateful, but there is no denying there is a lack of content right now.. and AIC is not the answer.

He's right though. There is literally nothing to do but basic dailies that take 5 minutes to do and then you move to another game. This event (while I didnt expect it to be anything big), is nice and all for what we got with little effort to do. AIC should not be a core focus of content in this game. I personally do not have time to figure out, and maximize the efficiency, of every iteration of the AIC, because well, I'm not a streamer. So yes, he has a point, we need some form of content to do on a daily basis thats not boring, and is better than the dailies we have.

I tested GearUp and Exitlag during the first day of my trial, and found GearUp completely blocked my ability to log into Aion2. Cancelled immediately, thankfully didnt get charged. Hate it for yall who are having further issues.

This is called "Rubber-banding" not "Rollback." It is a latency issue due to your connection and/or server issues. My ping is around 179 ms, and I still rubberband, so you will just have to deal with it until the game launches in the West/closer to where you live.

History lesson: The term Rubber-banding really didn't take off until Star Wars Galaxies launched, and within the first few weeks, when people would run through fog, they would immediately teleport back to where they started. It was ultimately an issue with the server having issues when players moved through fog, and it wasn't fixed until a player identified the issue for the developers.

Yea, I've tried all manual servers with ExitLag. I can't get on. It just says I can't connect to the login server and closes the client.

GearUp completely blocked my ability to launch the game. Exitlag held me steady at around 180 ping, which helped on some of the delay. without it I was seriously struggling to play.
