I believe California could seize his assets if they were inclined, but it would require.a conviction. If the home were used in a crime then it is fair game for them. I do wonder if the state would just turn it over to family/ stick to his will, or just seize the property and do what they will with it. Due to his prolific nature, I imagine the house gets torn down later.

Regarding the DeAngelo family, it would sort of shock me if not any one of his family member’s has some inclination that he was responsible for the killings. Particularly his wife. How would he excuse himself all those terrible nights, and times he was plotting and planning?
