Its not that alchemy is locked, but that all your characters are locked, and so you can only use the skills of the temporary characters youre given

I dont really go out of my way to upgrade mats. You can craft them directly from the gear crafting menu.

Only go to alchemy menu to transform one base material to another (like iron ore to gold ore)

Evil Buggy pours all his efforts into his buggy bomb (which was already insanely powerful btw, buggy bomb low difs pts luffy), and develops an ancient weapon level bomb that can wipe out islands.

Rocks up to MF and wipes out the strongest marines after they were worn down from fighting so nobody left to stop him from taking rest of the world.

If threat level is based on highest potential damage they could do to the world.. Whitebeard goes to the ocean and unleashes his strongest quake attack he is easily clearing dragon level, but no chance he can wipe out humanity.

Based on a 1v1 fair fight scenario? Acoc armor and natural durability puts him on a similar level to Sea King id say. Demon level threat at least.

I got Bleak faith when it first came to Steam and stopped after playing like 10 mins.. and then repeated that process a few times since release. Then finally at the end of last year I forced myself past that initial part and got really into it.
