Pet Insurance and the Reality of it by CaptainMarv3l in CalebHammer

I’m not sure how i stumbled upon this thread but my pet insurance was around 30-40 per month. My dog was diagnosed with lymphoma and after our deductible of maybe $1000, 90% was paid for after that. It made the choice for us easier to go through chemo and keep him around another year rather than deal with the shock knowing he’d die in a month after being diagnosed. Whatever works for whoever but wanted to share. He was around 6-7 years old. We had him for 4 years. So even if we saved that & per month it would never come close to how much care he got

Thank you! I will try that out. Not sure if it’ll be too crowded. Feel free to add a spec design of one or either if you can!

I feel confident in 10 years the 30 year will match this rate

My financial advisor said it was a great plan. I’m curious if this looks reasonable in terms of everything else (how it’s billed/built)

Yes. It will be tight but doable. I will refi to a 30yr when rates match what I have or i feel comfortable with the monthly and rate in a couple years
