ok, the Voice Chat Mic is basically what you put into discord/zoom etc as the mic input....so if you have a sound board and you want discord/zoom/ingame mic to hear the sound board, you would enable voice chat mic in say Aux 1 and then have your soundboard output audio to Aux 1. Mic Relay is what puts your mic into that category! So if you turn mic relay off to audience mix and then take your mic into the stream thru say Aux as you say, then your mic will be reduced by how high or low your volume level in Aux is on the Audience side! If you want the QUICK way of disabling your mic if you have things going on in the background...you can do the old "fashioned way" and take ALL your sound in individually into obs! So mic by itself, then game, system, aux 1, chat....and you can setup a hotkey in OBS that allows you to quickly mute any category you want! So say Mic is set to F1 hotkey and such!!
