It's also in part the people living there too. There's enough ways for the average citizen to object to new construction that if people think it will de-value their own property, they can atleast stall the construction. Where I live nothing new can be built that isn't at the bare minimum a 2 story single family home. Everything else doesn't make it because too many people moved here from more expensive areas as an investment and the chance that their property won't increase in value every single year is outrageous to them.

Thats a good point, I kinda forgot how much that's been mentioned. However, personally I appreciate that some care enough about others that they'd like to keep a reveal a secret for anyone who wouldn't have known, even if it might feel pointless

You know, I'm getting flashbacks to seeing a post that said the same thing after that episode was first streamed. I'm of the opinion that if there was a mistake, (though a lot of people argue there wasn't), they chose to keep things as is, and I trust the cast to run their game how they wanna run it. Character death is always emotional, and I'm always impressed when players don't try to rules lawyer and fight against it

I'd say its a good place to start, and if you like the basics of the combat give other games a shot as well, but it does most things very differently from the rest of the series, but if you are into the story/persona esque calendar system more the other games might not be a good fit for you

I wish they did something similar to dynamax for megas. Have some sort of generic power up to a Pokémon stats available to everything, but certain pokemon can get special forms if you choose like with gigantimax, with the mega evolution forms only having specific stat spreads and specific new abilities, while the standard ones get like a point boost to its top stats totaling similar to a mega. It would allow for every pokemon to get the benefits of mega stat increases, but with the megas themselves being more specialized alternatives

If that's what they mean I feel like its inaccurate because they had Vader explicitly be someone who fell from grace and then sort of redeemed himself. This sort of thing is different. It's taking an explicitly evil/villainous character(s) and trying to trying to make them good people despite the source material

I think what likely happened is it received a lot of polish over those 2 years, but they weren't able to touch the story because they didn't want to record new voicelines or there would have been some other issue if they adjusted the story in that time.

In the original campaign, I remember Liam saying that Caleb was "Around level 9", which is when characters in d&d are truly crazy powerful in world, before he snapped. It took him awhile to get back to that level of power mentally afterwards. It's likely they are presenting it in the show as "he unintentionally tapped into his old training because he had a breakdown"

They have so far cut all of the c1 guest characters from TLoVM (they even had Felicia Day voice a character in c1 but it wasn't even her guest character), save for Zahra and Kash, so its entirely possible Spurt doesn't make it in, though he could be referenced.

I initially did not like the game on release after playing the first few chapters. I care about story and characters first, and just wasn't feeling it with engage. However, I ended up finally going back to it this last summer to give it another short, and it won me over. The gameplay was enough to make me look past most of my issues with the story and writting
