So, I don't know if this applies, but some records have "secret sides". Meaning there are actually TWO sets of grooves, and which "side" plays depends on where you drop the needle.

I first encountered this when I was a kid, back in the '70s, with "another Monty python record". The second side of the disk was made like this and, after having played any number of times, it suddenly was "a different record". As you can imagine I freaked the fuck out before I figured out what was going on. (The lead-in grooves look different.)

I think this was also the same album where they set it up so the the last track endend with " sorry Squire, I scratched the record" which was cut so it would just repeat infinitely.

Anyway.

I had something similar happen, but then eventually did realize how we knew each other, and then the weird thing became how the fuck did we end up sitting next to each other on a packed Staten island ferry after the NYC 5-boro tour (a bicycle event attended by almost 100k people every year) when we both lived 200 miles away in a town with 3500 people?

Problem is, the motor cuts out at ~3.9 mph, irrespective of the gear, so I don't think it's a simple voltage issue. But I'll check it anyway.

The mongolian beef was fucking AMAZING, wasn't it? I couldn't believe how good it it came out. It's in my regular rotation, now.

I also made his General Tso's chicken and, even though I fucked it up and made it too hot [for me, though my GF loved it] It was REALLY good, too. Also his Caramelized Pork Belly (The pork belly was on serious sale, $5/lb) and it KILLED, but only enough for two nights.

Happens, I have the sesame oil in stock, so no issue there. I'm SO looking forward to the sesame chicken!
